This is one of my favorite iPhone hacks and works surprisingly well! Let me share all the steps here so you exactly know how to do this too: 1. Open Settings → Accessibility. 2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Accessibility Shortcut. 3. Select VoiceOver (make sure it has a ✓ next to it). → This lets you triple-click the side button to quickly toggle VoiceOver on or off. 4. Open the Camera app and swipe to Video mode. 5. Triple-click the side button to turn on VoiceOver. (You'll hear VoiceOver speak when it's active.) 6. When ready, double-tap the Record button to start recording. (VoiceOver will say "Recording.") 7. Triple tap the display with three fingers. → The screen goes black, but your iPhone keeps recording in the background. 8. When you're done, triple tap the screen with three fingers again to wake the screen. 9. Double-tap the Record button to stop recording. 10. Typing was NOT the most surprising part of the surface keyboard pushed in #MetaQuest latest update. Let me start by telling you how to try it yourself (available only on Quest 3) 1- On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app. 2- Go to Devices and select your headset 3- Tap Headset settings, then tap Advanced settings. 4- Tap the toggle next to Public Test Channel to join Meta Quest PTC (Public Test Channel) 5- After go in the headset settings > experimental features > surface keyboard ⌨️ Typing felt very responsive but what caught me off guard was the touchpad. 🖱️Even when looking straight at the screen the cursor moves accurately as if you are using an actual trackpad. Tapping acts as a click and it just works. ✌️ It also responds to the scrolling motion using 2 Fingers!

Quentin Tarantino reminiscences the orgasmic feeling the audience & he felt while watching this scene in 'Five Fingers of Death' (1972): "I was a little boy when the whole Kung Fu craze kind of started happening. I remember going to the movies [at the Carson Twin Cinema] and seeing the trailer for 'Five Fingers of Death' (1972) before it was getting ready to come out. And [I felt] 'Oh wow! this was sort of like Kung Fu'. One of the things they did so well is every year, twice a year they would have a double feature of 'Enter the Dragon' (1973) and 'Five Fingers of Death' (1972). Every time it was on the weekend. It was jam packed all during the day and night. As I mentioned in the review I wrote for 'I escaped from Devil's Island' (1973) where I talk about being in a black theater when I was 10 years old watching Jim Brown in 'Black Gun' (1972). What a formative experience, Cinematic experience it was for me! Right up there was watching the double feature of 'Enter the Dragon' (1973) & 'Five Fingers of Death' (1972) twice a year for about 3 years. Because the way you watched it is you went inside 'Enter the Dragon' first. Then you stayed for 'Five Fingers of Death'. It was a pretty good double feature and it was jam-packed audience. It was filled with bunch of Crips & lowriders. After watching these 3½ hours of martial arts, when it built up to the tournament at the end of 'Five Fingers of Death' & Lo Lieh is running to get to the tournament, everyone's really into it. The fights are going on & stuff but that part at the end when all of a sudden his FISTS GLOW RED & you know he is gonna use the iron fist & they start playing the ironside theme [Quincy Jones' theme], he shows to the audience that the fists are blowing red, the audience LOST THEIR MIND. I've had audiences at the New Beverly lose their mind when we show that film, at that moment. But with those audiences at that environment and coming at the end of over 3 hours of martial arts mayhem & building up to that release it was one of the greatest cause & effect I had ever seen of genre cinema, of action cinema; literally an ORGASMIC feeling in a connection between of not just you but the crowd around you, everyone responding. Other than in uproarious comedies, you never have that relationship with the audience, but you wouldn't in an action movie in normal theaters but in this theater you did." Most certainly, no weapon can be aimed at the target in this kind of open hand position, even if something could have been in it. Any weapon has to be held with a firm grip, for it to be aimed properly. Any suggesting that a weapon can be aimed form such a completely open hand position is utterly laughable ; > 4. No squeezing action in the hand is visible at all. All fingers remain perfectly stationary ; > > > 5. NO RECOIL action on the hand whatsoever ! Anyone who knows anything about the basic laws of physics, would know that no weapon is ever fired without a recoil action. 🚨Fixed the ranking of Forever Friends level status in Pokemon Go🚨 For a lot of you, as we know organizing our friends in order by friendship level has been broken in regard to interaction status going onwards from best to forever friends, right? Well, today I will share with you a way I figured out how to temporarily fix it to know who has the most vs the least hearts towards FF. Do steps as folllowed: 1. Go to friends 2. Click on teal heart on bottom right corner 3. Press friend level (make sure arrow is facing down) 4. Go back to friends list 5. Scroll entirety of friends list from top all the way to bottom 6. Go back into teal friend heart 7. Double tap friendship level (make sure arrow is down) 8. Exit back to friends screen and be amazed!😎 Includes video below for reference Do note that if you remove a friend or exit the friend screen to go back to the regular game screen, you very likely will have to repeat steps 1 through 8 to see them again. . Jeremy Boreing asked me how we can help young men find meaning and purpose. Not philosophically…practically. First, I addressed what we are doing wrong. We are not meeting them where they are, on their terms, and until we do that, they won’t be receptive. Gen-Z is not proactively seeking advice, so we have to bring it to them. Second, we need to acknowledge that certain things in their life ARE hard. Too many in the “older” generations are not acknowledging this and simply telling them to “suck it up.” But…we then need to demonstrate to them that life has always been hard and we need to give them that perspective. How do we do this? Make “rites of passage” great again. Getting your driver’s license (I meet so many young people who simply Uber everywhere and thus never got a license). Making the varsity football team (so many young people gave up on sports during Covid). Asking a girl on a date: face-to-face. You become a “legal” adult on your 18th birthday. But you become an actual adult when you acquire enough life experiences that deem you mature enough to BE an adult and these come through rites of passage. Right now we have a generation of young males trying to “learn” manhood from the manosphere which is the definition of immaturity. A “rite of passage” is about triumphing through and beyond something. The manosphere’s business model is to keep young men stuck. It creates followers, not leaders. Perhaps the most important rite of passage we can provide these young men right now is to leave this nonsense and go on with building their lives on their own terms. Young men need the dirt under their fingernails that comes from REAL life experiences, not the calluses on their fingers that come from constant screen swipes.

consistency ≠ uniformity: for those who haven't lived through this era – we used to have beautiful, precision interfaces. now they're replaced by a design language that originated from the Apple Watch, with icons that only fit in squircles. but that's not even the point. the point is we used to design the whole stack – the technology, the concepts, the interfaces. when designers only care about superficial consistency, platforms lose their uniqueness. apple used to design systems. skeuomorphism wasn't just about leather textures – it was about teaching people new mental models. the trash can empties because you understand what a trash can does. aqua's lickable buttons and sheets had depth because the OS had layers you could understand. the old apple designed the whole stack – from metal to pixels to concepts. teams weren't just shipping features in the same box, they were building coherent platforms each with opinions about what computing should feel like for the medium. liquid glass is fine on a phone. but on macOS it's unusable – lack of precision, visual noise everywhere. this is what happens when UI language designed for fingers bleed into macOS. we went from interfaces designed for a 27" cinema display with a precise cursor to interfaces designed for a 1.5" screen you tap with one finger. the Mac is for creation and precision work. it needs information density. it needs chrome you can grab. it needs UI that gets out of your way but gives you power when you need it. instead we got padding and whitespace and translucent blurs optimized for touch targets nobody's touching. the squircle icon mandate is a symptom. when you force every icon into the same shape, you're saying "brand consistency" matters more than "each app icon needs to communicate its function instantly." we traded clarity for uniformity. we traded precise design for cross-platform sameness. consistency means your system has coherent rules within itself. uniformity means everything looks the same regardless of context. the hardware team still gets it – that macbook pro + M-series chips, chef's kiss. but software design feels like it's chasing fat fingers instead of remembering what people do on a Mac.

On Steve Jobs and soul and instinct and fear and breaking through: 1. I realized I need to meet people with real talent and then all I gotta do is not get thrown out of the f*cking room. 2. I met with a bunch of tech companies and Steve was the only one that had soul. I told him I wanted to build this headphone company and Steve said: “You can do it.” 3. When I used to run companies I just woke up every day and did everything by my instinct. 4. You don't have to understand something fully to do it. I'm proof of that. I don't understand f*cking anything. But I know how to get things done. I know how to hustle. I'm willing to work harder than the next guy. 5. For a lot of people fear stops them. For the people that succeed, fear propels them forward. You need to learn how to harness fear because fear is energy. 6. Your job is to figure out a way around the gatekeeper. 7. If I see something new and great and unusual, I just can't stop. 8. If you know what you have is going to stick and if you’re passionate about it —then just break through that wall. There’s going to be a lot of resistance. But if it sticks, you win.
