China is urgently preparing for drone warfare and is arming itself with a MANPADS-based air defense system. The Type 625 MANPADS-based air defense system has been introduced into the Chinese army units. It is equipped with a six-barrel 25mm cannon and four missiles from MANPADS with a firing range of about 5 kilometers. Initially, the vehicle was demonstrated with eight missiles of a longer range. However, the experience of the special military operation in the East is also being studied, and for now, this version of the vehicle is being adopted by the PLA.
