@lordbuckly they followed this to Palm Springs (the washes were full but held) & to the Salton Sea. Which is no doubt filthy now.

dude may be worth to check out snow creek( on east side san jacinto mtn). It is just south west of you. Get on the 10 and then immediately get on hwy 111 toward Palm springs for only 1.5 miles and look for exit snow creek road, take it and go to the end..
