The private prisons are run by Greg Abbott’s donors and they get contracts with the state. Private prisons move inmates into our communities and release them onto our streets where they know no one. They are set up to fail, then the private prisons make more money when they reoffend. It's a vicious cycle that puts Texans in danger.
