Tell me again how clubs, teams, and travel teams aren't scams? My $ 80-per-season son's soccer team beat a $ 5k-per-kid club team. Somewhere along the way, youth sports stopped being about kids and started being about parents. Club sports promise: • better coaching • more exposure • better competition • scholarships But the numbers tell a different story. Only about 1% of high school athletes get a college athletic scholarship. And most of those aren’t even full rides. Meanwhile, families are spending: • $3k–$7k a year on club teams • travel flights • hotels every weekend • private trainers • camps Over 10 years, that’s easily $50k+ per kid. For youth soccer. At 10 years old. Meanwhile, rec sports still do what youth sports were originally meant to do: Kids play with friends. Parents sit in lawn chairs. Everyone grabs pizza after the game. Low pressure. Pure fun. And kids who love the game usually end up getting better anyway. Our $80 rec team proved that last weekend. So I’m curious… Are travel sports actually for the kids…

This couple sold their home and everything in it in 2019 and moved to Georgia where the husband was relocated for work. They moved into their 5th wheel Keystone RV full time and have been doing it for six years now. They planned on doing this for their retirement but decided to do it earlier because of the relocation. Now they spend their time traveling the country and checking things off their bucket list. They spend their summers at their family farm. They miss their adult children but the children meet up with them and sometimes travel with them. Some say they are jealous and this is their dream too but others say you should never sell your house because houses are gold right now and what if you get tired of traveling or sick and RV’s depreciate significantly. What do you think? Do any of you have this dream? Are you selling the house and all your possessions to live free like this? Could you travel this much? What’s your retirement dream?

AFCON 2025 🇲🇦 You cant blame a country for fans failing to turn out for every match in an AFCON tournament. The problem in Africa is that we are poor in mentality and wealth. Our friends in Europe plan to watch such games a year in advance and they travel to watch them Where it is hosted. For them, things like going on vacation and enjoying recreational activities like football ⚽️ is part of life. Fans from Africa failing to travel for AFCON is not a Moroccan 🇲🇦 problem. It’s an issue with lack of patronage for African football from we Africans. The onus lies with football fans in Africa like yourself and myself to play your own part by buying tickets and going to support your team at live games at AFCON. This is how it is done in other continents, it’s not rocket science. CAF also has to come up with promotional strategies to increase awareness and fan participation across Africa. Even if AFCON was held in Nigeria 🇳🇬 you don't expect all fans to go and watch Benin play Angola fans from those countries must also come and support their teams its their duty . People in India still don’t understand what acclimatization really means, or how important water and oxygen are, and where we are heading with this careless travel culture. Watching reels and suddenly leaving for extreme high-altitude places is dangerous. I stayed at Umling La for almost two hours despite having medical issues, while many people can’t even stay there for 10 minutes all because I properly acclimatized, started drinking 2–3 litres of water two days before the journey, and understood how the body adapts. The worst cases are people who directly reach 18,000 ft from the plains without giving their body any time to adjust. High altitude is not a joke. Your body needs gradual adaptation, awareness, and experience built over years. But who is guiding people? No one. People just watch reels and leave. Always read about the place you are travelling to the altitude, temperature, oxygen levels, road conditions and always talk to locals before heading into extreme regions! 🙏🏻

I've played Metaphor ReFantazio for about 70 hours and here is my review #PS5: -You can pet the cat! -I liked it more than Persona 3, 4, 5 and I think these games are some of the best the genre has to offer -Art direction is incredible -All of the background stories are interesting -I played it on hard/normal and the fights were very challenging (you can change at any time) -The game is so addictive that I couldn't think of anything else for days -The OST is very unique and special (battle themes are insanly good) -The menus are incredibly fluid, and fast travel also works within a click -Snappy combat -Evolution of action/turn-based -Archetype system leaves a lot of room for experimentation -INSANE twists -Interesting plot -Great villains and bosses -Great freedom with the overworld -Very dark themes like child death, poverty, executions and racism -The voice acting is very well done -Best cast of characters since FF7 -Sidequests are meaningful -Dungeons are interesting with some puzzle elements -Not done with everything and still so much stuff to do -Inconsistent framerate is my only complaint Metaphor ReFantazio is an incredible JRPG experience that captivates, shocks and questions your own worldview. With how amazing Tesla FSD has become, I’m at the point now where I actually prefer to drive rather than fly in most cases. FSD allows you to travel cover an incredible amount of distance without any major fatigue since the car handles 100% of the driving, charging, and parking. It also makes the trips so much more fun and rewarding. People always ask, don’t you get bored? My answer is actually no, we get to explore so many new places along the way, take in the scenery more, and it’s just overall a more pleasant experience than manually driving and stressing about which exit to take etc. FSD handles all of that for you. If you have a Tesla, or are planning to get one, I highly suggest taking it on a road trip somewhere. It’ll be the best roadtrip you’ve ever taken.

Not just in the photos and in the videos they allow us to see but in the eyes and lenses of the fans who met them along the way. This is their 4th trip together (NON WORK RELATED). And its only like what? 1st quarter of 2026. People say you discover a lot about someone when you travel with them.. So when they keep going back on trips with each other.. its safe to assume that they've already seen and know enough.. YET they still want more.
