Hugh Jackman’s performance in Prisoners is probably one of the best I have ever seen. Hugh Jackman in Prisoners isn’t performing a role ,he’s slowly burning it from the inside. He delivers a performance that feels carved out of fear. It’s one of those performances lingers long after the screen goes dark. Hugh Jackman avoided rehearsing emotional peaks. He didn’t want his breakdowns to feel planned. Many of Keller’s most devastating moments were shaped on set.
