They explain the sounds of women screaming and babies crying were heard late at night on both Sunday and Monday. When some of the residents went out to investigate and tried to help, they were shot at by Israeli – quadcopter drones. The sounds they heard were in fact records played by the Israeli drones with the intent of forcing the camp residents out into the streets where they could be easily targeted by snipers and other weaponry. I have received no response from Michael Gove or the Spectator as to why the footage of my debate with Gove and Katherine Birbalsingh has not been released, as agreed in writing before filming. If I have to pursue legal action, I will. There is still time for honour to prevail, and for the footage to be provided. Given the heated exchange between Gove, Pete North, and Katharine last night, it's clear the debate is still going on and of interest to the public. So why is the footage not out there as was promised? I have no problem with letting the public judge the merits of my arguments. Neither does Katharine. Only Gove and the Spectator refuse to uphold their end of our agreement. I won't drop this. Releasing the footage is the right thing to do. It's what you committed to doing. So do it.
