People need to realize hulk just has brute strength where as thanos knows actual fighting techniques if you pay attention some of the stuff he's doing is hitting pressure points, and also thanos is way older and has more combat experience than the hulk

Yeah, this is one of my least favorite scenes of the whole series. I realize they are trying to make Thanos look like a complete badass, as they should, but the Hulk is supposed to be this unstoppable force and it hurt to see him get so totally owned.

Thanos is a more powerful, calm and intelligent form of a hulk. No version of hulk is taking on thanos even without the gauntlet.

Norton's Hulk and Ruffalo's Hulk are the same person, and Thanos has been trained to fight, so it makes sense that he would gain the upper hand.
