This is the kind of monument the world actually needs. Not another abstract sculpture no one understands but a statue reminder that ordinary people once linked arms, risked everything, and pulled a life out of the water. The statue doesn’t just honor the rescue. It freezes the exact second strangers chose to become family. Still gives me chills. ❤️
