@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind Thank goodness for @RichardDawkins who always makes a great deal of sense; further enlightenment might be reached if both he & @hugorifkind acknowledge that it is largely Women & Girls who are adversely affected by this pernicious nonsense.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind I very much share Richard Dawkins' strong dislike of the destruction of the meaning of the words 'male' and 'female', but I would extend that also to my strong dislike of plural pronouns for singular people to avoid male or female pronouns - now rampant throughout our media.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind I am so glad that this is finally going beyond the scope of conservatism vs. woke ideology as they exist in the US. Both JK Rowling and Dawkins show that you don't have to be religious at all, or even conservative, to reject the stupidity that is trans ideology.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind The rainbow army went and turned Dawkins into a conservative. The world is healing.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind Humans are potential God. They will be able to redefine everything. That is what the God-given gift of creativity is all about. No other being on Earth possesses it.

Dawkins is right that human beings cannot redefine biological reality by changing language. Sex is not created by personal feeling, social preference, or political pressure. It is a real feature of living organisms ordered toward reproduction. Language should help the mind conform to reality, not help ideology escape reality. But Dawkins’ own materialist worldview cannot fully explain why reality is intelligible, why truth matters, or why the human mind is obligated to submit itself to what is real. Modern secular thinking often assumes that matter is basic, meaning is invented, and identity is self-created. From that starting point, it becomes easier to believe that words can remake the world. Reality is grounded in Logos: divine reason, order, and meaning (as in God). Biology is not random material pretending to have structure. It is an expression of intelligible order which precedes matter. So male and female are not arbitrary labels. They are forms rooted in created reality. Dawkins can defend biological facts, but he stops at the mechanism. People who understand God is reality defend the same facts while also explaining their deeper source. Ideology forces reality to obey desire. Ideology starts with what people want to be true, then reshapes language and institutions to make reality appear to fit it. Science observes reality. The Judeo-Christian God explains why reality is ordered, knowable, and worthy of obedience.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind It’s not about redefining someone’s sex. It’s about accepting and respecting a persons biological make up regardless of their birth sex.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind So powerful and then so deeply depressing that the only occasion one gets to speak sense to culture, to present truth before omni-opinion, is when one is embedded as a treasured relic in its navel gazing autobiography, such that most would not identify the value in any case.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind Read this if your angry about religion & if Dawkins still believes that Darwinism helped him become an intellectually fulfilled atheist why most scientists think the mechanism is not fit for purpose

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind Humans are not so special until he love the LLM technology, which he suspect has consciousness😅

@hugorifkind @RichardDawkins @hugorifkind if you want me to challenge Richard Dawkins, I can quite easily. The thing missing from your conversations is transgender people themselves.

@hugorifkind @RichardDawkins It’s not about redefining sex though, is it? It’s about acknowledging the complexity of human biology.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind “Religion is for idiots. That’s why you need to follow this new religion called government.” 😆 No, Richard. Humans are special, only you’re not. You decided to push this government nonsense.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind People can just do appalling things, they don't need faith - blind or otherwise - or any excuse. That's life. Faith in God can be and has been historically remarkably civilising.

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind What are these memes that constitute "woman" @hugorifkind ?

@RichardDawkins @hugorifkind We can create life and go to outer space. We can do whatever we want.
