I came across this video from a fellow spinal cord injured Nigerian. It made me so sad because just like mine it wasn't due to any recklessness on his part. Dude was just minding his business on the back of Okada when he was allegedly allegedly shot by an officer of Nigeria Police Force Oyo State Police Command Please go to his page and help him bring light to his ordeal.

A customer was trying to purchase a laptop at Best Buy . After the employee helped him the customer said thank you sir to which the employee got very upset and said I’m a woman please respect my pronouns and refuse to help anymore. He goes to ask another employee for help and she in support of her coworker refuses to help him as well so he leaves the store without a laptop. He videoed the whole thing and made a complaint to corporate, which then fired the employee. I don’t know which store this this happened at. Now from the video, the employee in question absolutely looks like a long-haired dude with a ponytail. So aside from this whole thing being ridiculous even if the customer wanted to respect this person‘s pronouns, it’s an extremely easy mistake to make. I would’ve said the same thing..

I had NO IDEA I was being inducted into the Maryland Terrapins Hall of Fame. I showed up thinking I was there to help bring other people on stage. When the new Athletic Director Jim Smith came on board, I told him anything he needed from me to help make the program better, call me. So honestly, I thought that’s what the night was about. To now be part of an elite class with so many legends who came before me, and to permanently represent the DMV and the University of Maryland in this way, is something I can’t even fully put into words. This young man setups locations every week to help feed the needy. He raises money and awareness on social media and in turn he uses it to help the less fortunate, he does this all the time, it is his calling. On this day, someone had called the police to report him blocking the street. The police arrive and tell him he needs to immediately leave and setup elsewhere. As much as I support helping others, I have to side with the cops on this one. Having people wait in the line in the middle of an active residential street isn’t safe. Maybe he couldn’t have setup in a park or a parking lot even. So are we all in agreement that for the wrong reason, the officer was right in this case?

Officers were informed that a man was kicking an ATM and had also unplugged the machine. In a newly released 911 call, a caller frantically said that 29-year-old Colin Czech ate a man. “Oh my… I don’t what the f*** he’s doing to this man, that’s some weird s***.” Another caller claimed that Czech was “on all fours” and was about to rush a 7-Eleven store. Czech later admitted to police that he “used his teeth to eat [the victim's] eyeball and ear.” The man claims he attacked the homeless man because he had been up for five days and was “possessed.”

LAS CRUCES, N.M. The Las Cruces Police Department released body camera and surveillance videos on Friday that showed the violent and deadly attack on 35-year-old Officer Jonah Hernandez. The videos showed Officer Hernandez being stabbed multiple times by 29-year-old Armando Silva. The attack occurred while Hernandez was responding to a trespassing call on Feb. 11 on the 300 block of South Valley Drive. Both surveillance and body camera videos showed Officer Hernandez approaching Silva and asking him questions about the call regarding trespassing. Seemingly unprompted, Silva can be seen in the videos lunging at Officer Hernandez and stabbing him multiple times while the officer is on the ground. A witness, identified by police as Issiah Astorga, 29, saw the attack take place and shot and killed Silva, police said. Astorga’s gunfire can be heard in the videos. The body camera video showed Astorga attempting to provide aid to Officer Hernandez after shooting and killing Silva. The video also showed another bystander coming to help and using Hernandez’s dispatch radio to call for aid.

A US Marine veteran's arm was broken as he was removed from a senate hearing for protesting against the war on Iran. The marine, identified as Brian McGinnis, shouted during a subcommittee meeting that "nobody wants to fight for Israel". US Senator Tim Sheehy said he had helped security personnel trying to remove him from the room. As attempts were made to remove the veteran from the room his arm appeared to break. Sheehy, who is a former Navy SEAL, called McGinnis "unhinged" in a social media post and that he "decided to help out and deescalate the situation." McGinnis was arrested and faces counts of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and unlawful demonstration.

Yesterday I was moving into a new apartment, and I had some help from a couple of guys who do moving work. I first noticed something when I went to pick them up at Home Depot. While talking to the older man, he received a call and answered, “Yes, commander, I’ll call you back.” I ignored it at first. Fast forward to when we got home and started loading and moving stuff. Another call came in from the same “commander,” this time on speaker. The moment I heard the voice, I knew something was wrong, and the man didn’t realize it. On the phone, they were asking him for $2,000, saying the girl he was supposed to marry next week was sick and needed money for treatment, even though she’s supposedly a military nurse according to her profile. I signaled him and muted the call. I told him to ask for the commander’s name, and he did. The guy said his name was “Marthin” and then “Martinez” 😂. I took the phone and said something, and the scammer immediately hung up when he heard my accent. A few minutes later, he called again, asking why the man had handed the phone to someone else and claiming it was against their “security rules.” I took the phone again and cursed him out. I told the man to block them, which he did. Then he showed me many more messages he’d been receiving. The man was already far gone into the scam. I’m glad I was able to stop him from being scammed. These people really work hard for their money, really hard. I told him it’s better to get a new phone line.
