Wishing a very Happy Father’s Day to all the paternal figures in our lives! Today — and every day — we give special thanks to our Keepers. It takes an extraordinary person to raise an orphaned elephant. Many of our Keepers say they have their human children and their elephant children — but really, they’re all their children! Each one is raised with a lifetime of love, dedication, and support. Orphans like Toto (pictured here as a baby with Keeper Joseph) are guided by their Keepers every step of the way, until they are ready to reclaim their place in the wild. Ask any Keeper about their greatest pride, and you’ll likely hear the same answer: seeing ‘their’ babies grow up happy and healthy, return to the wild where they belong, and one day start families of their own. #fathersday

It’s so disheartening to see the government sending Billions of Euros overseas while our own vulnerable children are suffering and families are having to raise their own money to fund their child’s surgery. It’s really infuriating to see this kind of behavior. People just don’t understand how important charging stations are. When cars park like this, it doesn’t update the system or inform drivers who are already on their way there and relying on the app’s routing to that location. People need to stop parking in charging spots.

Farmers never get a day off. 365 days a year they have to tend to & feed their livestock. Rain, sleet, snow, blizzard conditions, no matter what, they are working. There is no calling in sick. No clocking out at 5pm on a Friday and then back in on Monday. Every day they are caring for their livestock at all hours of the day and night. It’s hard work. It’s not for the weak or delicate. They are prepping and preparing the best they can. The rest they leave in the hands of the Lord. Prayers for all of our farmers and a big thank you. God Bless You. ❤️
