CANADA MUST BREAK U.S. FUEL BLOCKADE ON CUBA Cuba requires fuel and Canada has the capacity to supply it. Despite the U.S. Supreme Court declaring the extraordinary tariffs against Cuba illegal, the fuel blockade remains in place. Organizations across Canada are calling for an adequate response to oppose the U.S. blockade. A parliamentary petition urges Canada to advocate for the removal of the coercive measures on Cuba. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has condemned Washington’s “blatant and unjustifiable assault” on the Cuban people.
