This has been made clear by Russia on many occasions. Ukraine is their step too far so why push it? The only people pushing for war are the ones that have never fought and will never have to.

Of course he's right. NATO and the EU both need to stop and realize what happens as soon as Ukraine is admitted into their ranks. Talking about going to war with a nuclear power is a lot different than actually doing it.

Of course - Isn't this what gave Putin the excuse to invade Ukraine - There was constant droning on in the EU about admitting Ukraine to NATO - Putin had already told them he wouldn't allow it.
