She learned the hard way that posting something derogatory about ICE has consequences that apparently she wasn’t expecting. She’s in tears because of the blowback she got. Do I feel sorry for her? No . She posted her opinion, and People responded that that’s how it goes. Do I think the comments about her being fat, and ugly are unnecessary? Yes I do because it has nothing to do with the subject.. but when you put yourself out there like that, you have to expect people are going to respond, and not always in the way that you expect.

When I talk to young people, what I hear from them, they feel like the only way they can stay in the city is if they keep living with their parents or leave the state entirely. We have to make it a place where they can aspire to dream in the city and also treat them with the seriousness that they deserve because what we'll find in our young people is leadership.
