And there will be no government help, just promises of help. We lost just about everything from the Floods in Vermont last year. Applied for and qualified for help from FEMA. They came and did an inspection, found our rental was unlivable, and told us to find a new place and they would help with rental assistance. It's been almost a year, and FEMA still hasn't released any funds to my new landlord, and we are now facing eviction from the new place we were told to move into. I see why they say Hawaiians only received $700 from FEMA. It's all they end up giving out. They never release any funds after thar. Where does all the money allocated to FEMA go, if it doesn't go to Americans in need? I'll tell ya, right in the pockets of the politicians we voted for and as aid to foreign countries.

I'm in Elizabethton, Tennessee and we have not seen the NG anywhere. We have seen rescue teams and others from many different places that are helping but no NG because they were deployed. I want to say thank you for the help we are receiving. It is very bad.

And don't forget that our Ports will be shut down on Oct.1, so not only hurricane victims, but the entire country will be without food and necessities.

FEMA can legally declare a disaster as toxic w chemicals involved, evacuate residents, and regulate clean up that's unaffordable to the property owner. It can easily become a land grab.....
