( 🐰 it actually really hurt my feelings back then. whenever i tried to approach yeonjun hyung and start a conversation, he would just try to hide everything and it felt like he was putting up a wall. but that day, while we were drinking together, for the first time in years, he opened up and shared his honest feelings with me. so i ended up crying that day… while we were talking 👤 why? what made you cry? 🐰 just while i was listening, it suddenly started coming out… i hadn’t cried like that in a while. he’s kind of like a ‘sore finger’ for me, you know… and he was going through a really tough time back then, but it felt like he was in the process of becoming a better person, someone stronger. i think that’s what made me feel really happy about it. i was really relieved

But the imaginative part of Close Encounters kind of captured me. And I wrote it from my heart. What he does is he grabs the back of his head and he just starts tugging on it. The idea was he would pull it as far as he could, and then we would take over stretching the image, making it appear to be distorting in a way that it physically couldn’t. Then basically when I shot Vince I just kept urging him to pull harder, and harder, and harder until finally the final take he just pulled it until the makeup just ripped. We said, ‘Okay, we got it.’ That’s what’s in the show because it’s really tugging on his face the maximum it could be done, and then we just extended that. I asked Jay Bilas what the argument is for Darius Acuff to be the #1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft: “He’s a walking bucket. Like the way he scores and how tough he is, he’s got those chest-down drives. He’s built differently than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but like those chest-down drives that those guys get, it reminded me a little bit of him. But, you know, you watch him in person and you’re like, ‘My God, who’s going to stop this guy?’ He’s scoring in the 30s, the 40s. And, you know, it’s just a stat, but, the first player to lead the SEC in scoring and assists, Maravich did it. That stands out. And in the SEC tournament, I mean, he was not good. He was great. And you’re thinking, how high is this ceiling going to be? And he’s really competitive because he was hurt. Like he played most of the year injured. He’d be in a boot during the week and then not really able to practice that much. And then he plays his tail off in the games. Really, really impressive.”

Jim Breuer says that his old friend Dave Chapelle went to him in private and told him about how an elite group of people came to him and sat him down to "correct him" and that was right before he suddenly vanished and went to Africa. He says he no longer communicated with him say in the same way after he came back and wonders what really happened... Who visited him? I'd be curious to hear the names. "He came there and he was freaked out. He was visited. And when he told me who visited him. My heart stopped for a second. I'll never forget. He went, you believe me right?
