I’m married & truthfully, this convo is tiring. Black women aren’t opposed to marriage - just aren’t interested in compromising our sanity or emotional state JUST to be married/say ‘at least i have someone’.

The fact that she left out the fact that White women go to college to pursue their MRS degree is why I can't get behind what she's saying... She's not stating all the facts, so her points are provocative but invalid...

I agree we can certainly take more accountability for the role we partake however … black women are the least thought of to marry especially by black men … we can be ride or die “ and be there when it’s get bad but the least respected when it comes to marriage

y’all she’s speaking about this as if black women are the only women who feel this way. And too many absolutes. I can’t get behind this. There’s too many different situations for it to be “truth”. I think these videos do more damage than good

Independent women are not sitting around talking about being independent, they’re just doing it. Do y’all not realize how much energy, effort & discipline it takes to build on your own? In THIS economy? Y’all be describing Posers to discredit the ones really putting in the work

B/c black woman(not all) but majority rather be single or baby mommas! And that’s a fact.

She’s got valet points

It’s not a reality for Black women because we keep putting this negative stuff out here saying it’s not their reality. Just like the negative stuff regarding Black fathers, knowing the white man was lying and they spend more time taking care of their children than any other race.

Black people need to learn to be interdependent! Being independent is the okie doke💯

AND our women wanna be bad bitches or baby mommas more than wives.
