But around 50,000 to one lakh cusecs of Godavari water is getting wasted EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! Let me give you a better perspective - In just ONE DAY Kannepalli pump house can lift water equivalent to one entire Hussain Sagar full water. In just 31 hours, Kannepalli pump house can lift water equivalent to one Gandipet Lake. But the government refuses to accept. It is unfortunate, that with the threat of drought due to El-Nino is looming large, the Telangana Congress Government decided to play politics. Senior politician and BJP MP Etala Rajendar too came in support of utilising Kannepalli Pump House to lift Godavari water. “Do your politics later.
