AR has deployed a few anti-drone systems in the State at fringe areas to repel any rogue drones. CRPF has also tested one anti-drone system and given it to the force deployed in the State. Some more anti-drone guns are being brought to the State by CRPF shortly. The State Police has also started the process for procurement of anti-drone system to enhance its security measures and tackle threats from drones effectively.

NO NEW solar, wind or hybrid renewable energy projects will be allowed within 1 km of the International Border, LoC or LAC 🤯 Areas up to 50 km have been classified as sensitive. > Every such project will now require MANDATORY security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Projects within 20 km of the International Border will additionally need a No-Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Defence. Engineers, staff or labour from China, Bangladesh and Pakistan cannot be engaged without prior Central Govt permission. Developers must install comprehensive security infrastructure, including anti-drone systems, at their own cost. These will be operated by CISF or state police.
