G20 SUMMIT DAY 2: CRITICAL ROAD CLOSURES Today is the final day of the summit, meaning high-volume VIP movements are expected as delegates depart. The rolling closures are active, and motorists are advised that highways and main arterials will be completely closed intermittently to allow convoys to pass. This causes sudden, standstill traffic for 30–60 minutes at a time. The most critical times for these closures today are: * Morning: 07:00 – 10:00 * Evening: 15:00 – 20:00 We can confirm that specific closures will be in effect for today, Sunday: * Nasrec Precinct (Summit Venue): * Nasrec Road: Closed between Rand Show Road and Shaft 17 Road. * Rand Show Road: Northern portion closed between the N1 and Nasrec Road. * Golden Highway: Closed between Rand Show Road and Soweto Highway. * Booysens Reserve Road: Closed near Crownwood Road. Sandton and Rosebank: Expect disruptions on Grayston Drive, Rivonia Road, Maude Street, Oxford Road, and Jan Smuts Avenue as dignitaries move between their accommodations. Weather services have issued warnings for severe thunderstorms in the Gauteng region today. The combination of slippery roads, poor visibility, and heavy G20 congestion significantly increases the risk of accidents. We urge drivers to maintain a safe following distance and keep their headlights on at all times. As of this morning, no new massive highway blockages have been reported, but the network is extremely fragile. Any minor accident will cause gridlock due to the existing G20 pressure. Motorists are advised to avoid the highways (N1, M1, N12, R21, R24) if possible, and they can use alternatives such as: * Roodepoort: Use Beyers Naudé Drive, Christiaan De Wet, or Ontdekkers Roads. * Sandton/North: Use smaller side streets parallel to Rivonia/Oxford (though these will still be busy). * South: Use Chris Hani Road, Main Reef Road, or Soweto Highway, (where open) to bypass the Nasrec lockdown. Highway Harassment: Two Youths Create Chaos Near Shobha Town Park in Bengaluru Some aspects of human behavior, unfortunately, seem difficult to change especially when it comes to a lack of civic sense and respect for others in public spaces. A recent incident on the highway near Shobha Town Park in Attibele highlights this concern. A car bearing registration number KA-03NY-3552 was reportedly seen causing disturbance on the road. According to witnesses, two young men inside the vehicle were behaving irresponsibly, making inappropriate hand gestures, shouting at other motorists, and creating unnecessary chaos. Their actions not only caused discomfort to fellow drivers but also raised serious concerns about harassment and road safety. Such reckless and disrespectful behavior on public roads is unacceptable. Highways are meant to be safe spaces for everyone, and actions like these can easily escalate into dangerous situations, potentially leading to accidents or conflicts. It reflects poorly on the individuals involved and shows a disregard for basic social responsibility and discipline. Authorities should take note of such incidents and ensure strict action is taken against those who misuse public spaces in this manner. At the same time, it is important for individuals especially young people to understand the importance of responsible behavior, mutual respect, and adherence to the law while using public roads. Karnataka State Police S. A City of Glitz, Roads of Grit Lorry Sinks on Brigade Road, Exposing the Rot Beneath Brand Bengaluru On one of Bengaluru’s most premium stretches Brigade Road, a shocking incident unfolded when a lorry’s tyres got stuck on the footpath, leaving the massive vehicle dangerously tilted and on the verge of toppling. The scene drew the attention of pedestrians and motorists alike, raising serious questions about accountability and civic responsibility.Who’s really at fault here the truck driver, who had no business driving on a pedestrian footpath, or the authorities responsible for the pathetic construction quality of such an important road in the heart of the city?If the lorry driver decided to take the footpath, it reflects a blatant disregard for road rules and pedestrian safety something that has sadly become common in Bengaluru. But at the same time, the incident exposes the fragile and poorly maintained infrastructure of even the so-called “posh” areas. How can the civic authorities boast about “Brand Bengaluru” when the very roads in its elite zones crumble under minimal pressure?Brigade Road is not some forgotten lane on the city’s outskirts; it’s a symbol of Bengaluru’s modern image. Yet, if such incidents can occur here, one can only imagine the state of lesser-known areas. It’s high time both reckless drivers and irresponsible civic contractors are held accountable. Because what happened today isn’t just an accident it’s a reflection of the crumbling trust in Bengaluru’s infrastructure and governance. Karnataka State Police S. 📍 Vega City, Bannerghatta Road Take a look at the condition of this road. At first glance, it may appear to be a normal black patch, but in reality, the surface is completely damaged, filled with loose stones, mud, uneven patches, and crater-like potholes. This has turned what should be a safe public road into a serious hazard for commuters. The question every taxpayer is asking is: where is the tax money going? Citizens pay road tax, property tax, fuel tax, and various other charges, yet basic road infrastructure continues to deteriorate. During the rainy season, these roads get flooded and resemble small lakes, making travel dangerous and difficult. When there is no rain, the situation is hardly any better, as loose gravel, broken surfaces, and potholes pose risks to motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. Bengaluru is known as India's technology capital, but many of its roads continue to reflect poor planning, delayed maintenance, and a lack of accountability. Residents are forced to navigate damaged roads every day while infrastructure projects and promises of development continue to dominate headlines. Do the lives and safety of citizens not matter? How many accidents, vehicle damages, and daily inconveniences must people endure before permanent solutions are implemented? Roads are not a luxury they are a basic necessity, and taxpayers deserve infrastructure that is safe, reliable, and maintained throughout the year. Karnataka State Police DGP KARNATAKA S. May this young man's Soul Rest in Peace. The carnage continues due to unprecedented levels of greed, dereliction of duty, and lack of accountability. The funds are actually there and have been provided over the past decade. The Ministry of Finance Ministry of Finance has released about UGX 100 Billion since 2019 for a Department of Government whose main responsibility and objective should be prevention of road crashes. These funds have been spent on activities with very minimal impact on road safety. This information has been shared with IGG, Office of the Auditor General Uganda, Criminal Investigations Directorate-UPF. How do you explained the death of a young man in a fatal road crash that caused the incineration of the vehicle which he was driving? He must have been driving in one of the best motor vehicles in this country given the wealth of his family. He was driving a motor vehicle which probably had good safety features on a smooth road without pot holes. It is easy to draw conclusions like he was speeding, he was fatigued, he lost control of his motor vehicle, he made errors, e.t.c. Whereas all that may be true, did he deserve to die in such a gruesome way for those errors in judgement? The answer is a BIG NO. The truth is government failed him in so many ways. At the center of modern day road safety management is recognition that errors made by road users (drivers, motorcyclists, cyclist and pedestrians) MUST NOT lead to their demise. Here is a situation he found himself in: Concrete Barriers on a road that encourages high speed. Who has the onus to remove this hazard? Government. I could have perished in the same circumstances a few years back before the completion of the KEE on the way to the Airport. It was a rainy early morning at about 5:00am and I drove through barriers which were made of plastic. So why were these not made of plastic? Was there a provision for lighting on that section? If not, it should have been there. This is what we mean when we say roads should be forgiving. Apart from their design, road sides are the major reference here. The road should have forgiven him for this error if it had plastic reflective barriers. These kind of barriers would have caught his attention and he would have stopped his car instead of killing him. Were the traffic lights functional? Why was there no hazard signage or warning of any sort since there were barriers in middle of the road? This section of the road is built as an expressway and as such encourages speeding especially at any time beyond midnight. There are no traffic calming measures in place yet it is freely used by pedestrians and Boda-Bodaz like any other city road. Roads are supposed to be designed and constructed bearing in mind the activities that take place around them (Land Use). Interventions to control speed must be implemented if there is a high volume of different road users. They would have got his attention and he would not have died. A glaring example of contractors that do not care about road safety is on the section of Kampala-Masaka in the swampy section of Lwera. The Concrete Barriers are there and in places where they are not, there is nothing preventing a motor vehicle falling off into the swamp. Not even a rope. UNTIL THE DAY WHEN THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS COUNTRY ACCEPTS THAT ROAD CRASHES ARE PREVENTABLE AND PARLIAMENT STARTS DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILTY ON ROAD SAFETY, THIS CARNAGE WILL CONTINUE. ACCEPTING THERE IS A PROBLEM IS THE FIRST STEP TO SOLVING IT OR MANAGING IT. TOMORROW IT MIGHT BE ME OR YOU. LETS STOP PAYING LIP SERVICE TO UGANDANS ESPECIALLY ALL THOSE FAMILIES THAT LOSE LOVED ONES IN THIS MESS OF GREED AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY. Flying home for Christmas, and thinking about all of it. Tonight, the specially modified, reindeer powered, A350 hums its way back across the Atlantic, the same great circle we traced earlier in the week, only this time in reverse, toward home. It’s approaching Christmas Eve, and while most of the world is gathered around tables and tree lights, thousands of us are in uniform, keeping the skies moving so others can be with the ones they love. This year’s holiday travel period is shaping up to be one of the busiest in history. Globally, more than 300 million passengers are expected to fly over the Christmas and New Year period, a significant increase in demand compared with previous years. It’s easy to forget that behind every departure board and baggage carousel are crews working long hours through holidays and timezones, pilots, cabin crew, engineers, dispatchers, ATC, ground staff, all facilitating millions of journeys. If your plans don’t go quite to schedule this season, please be patient and kind. We are all doing our best to bring you home. From the flightdeck tonight, the horizon blends winter darkness with distant city glows; the Atlantic below, the festive world above. There’s something quietly profound about flying home for Christmas, a reminder of both how vast the world is and how connected we remain. From my crew to yours, safe travels and a peaceful Christmas. #FlyingHomeForChristmas #PilotLife #AviationLife #AvGeek #ChristmasTravel #HolidayTravel #FlightDeckView #AboveTheClouds #GlobalTravel #AirbusA350 #AirlineLife #Gratitude #KindnessMatters #SafeTravels

Attempt to Kill? XL6 Driver Drags Man on Bonnet in Broad Daylight In Bengaluru A shocking case of road rage was caught on camera on 11th February 2026 at around 12:45 PM on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru. In the disturbing visuals, a Maruti Suzuki XL6 bearing registration number KA03NN4501 can be seen speeding recklessly while a man is lying on the bonnet of the moving vehicle. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver was driving at a very high speed, endangering not only the man on the bonnet but also other commuters on the busy stretch. The man on the bonnet was seen shouting and pleading with the driver to stop the car, but the driver allegedly continued to accelerate without concern for human life. The act has raised serious concerns about public safety and reckless behavior on city roads. Such behavior is not just irresponsible it is criminal. Dragging a person on the bonnet of a speeding car shows a complete disregard for human life and traffic laws. Roads are meant for safe travel, not for settling personal disputes in a life-threatening manner. Incidents like these could have easily resulted in a fatality.Upon further verification, it has come to light that the driver is reportedly a previous offender in cases related to rash driving. Additionally, checks revealed that the vehicle’s insurance policy had expired, which is another violation of the Motor Vehicles Act. Operating a vehicle without valid insurance and engaging in repeated reckless driving reflects blatant negligence and a lack of accountability. According to the DCP EAST, a case has been registered against the driver, and further investigation is underway. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken as per the law. This incident once again highlights the growing menace of road rage and reckless driving in Bengaluru. Strict enforcement, heavy penalties, and cancellation of licenses for repeat offenders are necessary to ensure that such dangerous individuals are kept off the roads before innocent lives are lost. Karnataka State Police S. Look at how American children live! I filmed this on my way home from New York City after attending the World Falun Dafa Day parade a few days ago. I happened to get stuck behind a school bus, which kept stopping and delayed me quite a bit — but it also gave me a chance to closely observe the happy lives of these children. As you can see, the school bus drops each child off right at their home. Sometimes two houses are only five or ten meters apart, yet the bus still stops separately for each family. It doesn’t try to save time by dropping the children somewhere in between and making them walk home on their own. Around the 10-second mark in the video, you can see a small child get off the bus and cross the street to go home. That’s why in the United States, whenever a school bus stops, not only must all the cars behind it stop, but even the cars coming from the opposite direction must stop as well — all to ensure children can cross the road safely. I filmed both of these clips from inside my car. I was quite amazed that day, but I hadn’t had time to share them until now. Today I finally wanted to show everyone. This is what a society built for people looks like! And compare American children's lives with those of Chinese children! A follower of my Chinese language account 曾錚 says that a lot of Chinese middle and high-school students are just like prisoners, and their parents are only allowed to visit them at school once a month!

I am sorry, but your understanding of supplements for hair and skin health is quite wrong. 1/ Multivitamins for health promotion is the biggest myth there is. A multivitamin a day improves health is a promotional gimmick from the wellness industry, health-illiterate influencers and poorly informed doctors. Daily multivitamins give you high-colored expensive urine and long term use increases risk of cancer. See here: 2/ Probiotics are sham treatments except in specific situations. See the WGO 2023 guidelines here: Its use is specific to: ➡️Prevention of antibiotic associated diarrhea. ➡️Shortening duration of acute infectious diarrhea in children by 1 day when given early during course of disease. ➡️Useful for treating "pouchitis" of inflammatory bowel disease. ➡️Reduction in risk of necrotizing enterocolitis in preterm babies. ➡️Using probiotics outside these indications is a waste of your money and time. 3/ Ginseng has no known benefits on the prevention or treatment of any disease condition known to humans. Many of the published randomized controlled trials on Asian ginseng may not be high-quality studies. Ginseng can also interact with your standard medicines and increase toxicity or reduce benefits. See here please: 4/ Omega-3 fatty acids. The only use identified from large quality studies and metanalysis is for treatment of high triglycerides and lowering of non-HDL lipid fractions. Please see this highest quality of evidence: Omega-3 does nothing as mentioned in the video. 5/ Collagen for wrinkles and fine lines, prevention of "aging" and improving "skin health" is actually a myth. Large metanalysis from 2021 showed improvement in skin elasticity and reduction in wrinkles. This one here: But, this metanalysis was done poorly. A rebuttal letter showed that conclusive benefits of collagen on skin health did not actually exist when reanalysed from proper statistical methodology - see here: Collagen will waste your money. 6/ Biotin for hair and nails. I am sorry to burst your bubble, because I know many of you are on this supplement, but it does not work. It is a waste of money. The American Academy of Dermatology Association states that biotin supplementation has no benefits on hair growth/loss or nail health. See here: Moreover, a recent review does not even mention biotin being useful in hair loss. See here: Instagram is full of these overgrown Amul-babies who have absolutely no idea about the science of healthcare or value the role of empirical evidence in advising healthcare options. Do not fall for such people or their garbage handles. And frankly, I think the guy in the video has just about average hair and skin. Not worthy of second-looks even with all that bottled stuff going in.

🚨BREAKING: Another ICE agent has been caught on video illegally pointing a firearm at a U.S. citizen, in Lemonwood, California. In the video, an unmarked ICE vehicle is stopped in the middle of the road… no vehicles are in front of it, and nothing is preventing them from driving forward. Instead of continuing to drive down the road, the ICE agent is blocking a pickup truck from turning, while pointing a gun, out their window, directly at the driver of that truck. The truck backs up, but the agent still keeps the firearm pointed at the driver. Only AFTER people begin honking their horns does the agent lower their weapon, and drive away. The law states that pointing a firearm at someone is considered a serious threat of deadly force. It is only justified when an officer has an objectively reasonable belief that they are facing an immediate threat of death, or serious bodily harm. It is not legally allowed to be used to control traffic, and it is not legally allowed to be used as intimidation. And that’s exactly why this video should be alarming to you. The agent is not boxed in… nothing is preventing them from driving down the street. Meanwhile, the agent is the one preventing the truck from continuing its turn. And they are doing so while pointing a gun at the driver. So, the question becomes… What immediate threat justified the ICE agent to stop their car, and point a firearm at a U.S. citizen? Because we are seeing a growing pattern, of publicly documented incidents, where ICE agents point firearms at legal observers, journalists, and bystanders during enforcement encounters… when they are not facing an immediate threat of death. That is not how public safety works. Pointing a firearm at someone is one of the most serious things an officer can do, because it instantly escalates an encounter into a potential deadly force situation. And that is exactly why the law is supposed to restrict it. Every unnecessary drawn gun increases the risk of a wrong judgment, and a fatal mistake. And when there is no accountability, for when that line gets crossed, drawing a gun because the normal for every situation. And when it becomes normal, more people’s lives are put in danger.
