What's clear is that the Oman lane is still active with firms like Kpler and other showing flows close to 3-5 million b/d. What's unclear is when the Iranians will implement enforcement on the Oman lane, especially for inbound tankers. I suspect we are near the end of this TACO nonsense. From an oil inventory standpoint, inbound VLCCs to the US will push commercial crude inventories to operational minimums just as SPR runs out at the end of August. Trump, along with the IEA, will have to announce another round of SPR. It's now or never.
