Cloned 3 viral reels end to end last night with Hypit + local ffmpeg. Zero generation cost. One idea: the script IS the timeline. Voiceover → WhisperX word alignment → every line pins a visual → HyperFrames renders. Change the script, rerun alignment, visuals reflow. 👇 2/ ffmpeg gotcha #1: ffmpeg 7.x silently drops frame rate after setpts, falls back to 25fps, frame count mismatch, build fails. Fix: ffmpeg 6.0 static + a wrapper that re-injects -r N/D after the filter chain. 3/ ffmpeg gotcha #2: Hypit asserts audio sample count == timeline exactly. AAC can't do that, the last frame is always 32 samples short. Fix: wrapper swaps -c:a aac for alac (lossless, exact), transcode to AAC after export. 4/ 20 lines of bash. Two rules. Point Hypit's runtime ffmpegPath at it and it never knows. Both are upstream version-compat bugs, filing them. Side by side with the originals in the video.
