hysteroscopy is not performed under general anesthetic. Its performed under minimal pain relief too. In a gyno office, in the examination chair. The doctor performing the exam doesnt not fold the paitent like a lawn chair.

I know the video is exaggerated

a doctor inserts a thin, lighted telescope (hysteroscope) through the vagina and cervix into the uterus.

😂😂😂

Super informative video. I’ve always wondered how they get such a clear view inside the uterus without a big incision

Now you know yeah?

What is that treatment ??

Video of explains it clearly

Ok dear

Thanks for the clear breakdown of hysteroscopy! The mix of real procedure footage and 3D animation really helps show how the scope goes through the cervix to examine (and sometimes treat) the inside of the uterus. Useful info for anyone wanting to understand this common gynaecological procedure better.

Thank you

Hi

@Stellaolzx Hi

@SibomanaAtk1 I’m not a doctor so not beneficial to me.

Does the recovery time vary a lot depending on whether it's diagnostic or operative

Yes, recovery time varies: • Diagnostic (viewing/biopsy): Usually back to normal in 1-2 days, just mild cramps + spotting. • Operative (removing polyps/fibroids etc.): 3-7 days (or up to 2 weeks), with more cramping & bleeding. Depends on what’s done — always follow your doctor’s advice! 👍

An explanation for hysterectomy

Ooooh 😮

Amazing 😍😍😍

hysteroscopies are outpatient procedures performed in a doctor's office with minimal sedation or local anesthesia rather than general anesthesia in a full operating room.

Yes sir Some require mild anesthesia if pt suffers pain though

Is it this simple?
