Kids aren’t your clones Kids aren’t accessories Kids aren’t “cures” for broken marriages Kids are human beings who will have different hobbies, thoughts, opinions, ideas and bodies. As a parent your love for them must be unconditional and you have to guide them.

The one thing that became apparent to me is, they are your heart walking in the world. There simply is no second to that, the beauty and the fear, worth every second of it.

she's right on. I would not recommend parenthood to anyone not ready to make huge sacrifices, make really hard decisions, and put children's interests ahead of your own.
