Property tax on this house is over $9,000. Now add insurance, water, electric, sewer, etc. Now add California state income tax. This is not a good investment anymore in California.

All it needs is a little paint. And the electric is easy access!

We were briefed something similar in our death by PowerPoint slides when arriving to Monterey, CA back in the mid 2000s. Don't want to even fathom what it would cost nowadays.

Move. That price will get you a move in ready house and 200 acres in several other states. By move I mean, move if you love the US Constitution, freedom and liberty. If you voted for all that mess that is California please stay there. Or move to Oregon, Washington or New York.

Burbank is an apocalyptic hellscape now. Husband has to deal with it once a month on the way to the Air Force base. For almost 900K you can get a 4 bedroom manse with 4 bathrooms & a pool in a gorgeous country club area of Texas, with top schools nearby. Oh, and there’s no State income tax, and the property tax on such a home would be about 1K/month with homestead exemption, and your water and garbage services would run you about 100 bucks a month.

Inflated prices by the assessors gives the POS parasites more tax money

Why anyone would want to live there, ie Burbank and the like, is beyond my comprehension. But I’m glad they do, otherwise more of them might find out about God’s country

There is obviously a housing bubble in California. Mass deportations will help cool the housing market down. 10 million deportations should do the trick.

Come to Texas. The Indians are leaving and prices should be dropping.

The housing market will crash, it's just a matter of when.

$250k with no parking. Didnt have working kitchen or bathroom. Stay out. No shame living with folks. Save rent and mortgage. Wait for the housing glut to happen. It will. Boomers and older gen X will leave a lot of empty. Don't be fooled. The only shortage is humans. We work when the grid goes down

If you can repair the hiose for less than $430,000, you can flip the house and make money. Same size pending for about $1,300,000. It will sell.

Show me the neighborhood and lot. In Scottsdale we have tear downs where the land will capture $1,000,000 and in a similar area a stunning house will sell for $850,000. Depends greatly on the lot and the exact street of homes.

Reason why you see so many moving from Cali to Midwest states of Texas and Oklahoma. At that price of $870k you can own 20 acres with brand new home built with all the latest material and technology.

Here’s how you sell it to dummies “Observe such an exquisite architecture inspired by Breaking Bad & My Name Is Earl. This elegant architecture is known as the Tweaker Assemblàge. For only $900k, this unique home can be yours.”

There is no hope for young people in CA. The Universities stoke their frustration into rage and hate. Criminals rule the streets. (Communism is the same everywhere.) Cartels and gangs prosper, protected by Sanctuary and Dems. The streets are filthy and unsafe. Tonight in my once quiet suburban OC neighborhood, police and police helicopters were everywhere. We could see officers and police cars from our windows. We often hear gunshots. The barbarians from urban SD and LA are slowly squeezing OC and northern SD in their vise. A SD man who moved his family to Missouri told my sister, “It was either move or shoot the bastards.” His home was robbed twice. We can’t vote our way out of this. Spencer Pratt proved that. There were 9 million more votes than registered voters in the LA mayoral Primary.

They're pricing most Americans out. They want everyone to be renters so they can take your money every month for your whole life.

I live in Orange County and the price for a shoddy tear down (basically dirt) in my neighborhood is $1.4. And if it’s on a preferred street $1.8-$2.0. It’s ridiculous

That’s nothing I bought a house for 1.5 million in Cupertino a couple years ago. It was a two bedroom one bath built in 1928. It was a piece of crap. It was remodeled and sold for 3.5 million. That’s the insanity of California
