I agree with the driver.

If the driver thought it was unsafe, that should be the bottom line. It's his responsibility once he moves from that loading dock. It wasn't pride. It was a professional not willing to put his CDL on the line for incompetent loading. I side with the driver.

It wasn't "Pride" on the part of the driver. It was abiding by the law so he didn't get a ticket. That would go on his driving record. How is that being stubborn? I wouldn't take an illegal load either. This was entirely on the loaders - they were wrong.

Driver is responsible, the driver should have the ultimate say in it. None of these people are going to pay his ticket if he gets scaled.

When you get behind the wheel and have to deal with this BS with a broker involved, as a boss you should have backed your driver and declined the load. Calling it “pride” doesn’t make it better. Your pride fii oh r the money is what is at play here. Think if the respect you lost for not standing up for your driver. M I s t brokers and our Enders I’ve dealt with over the yeadd r s have no respect for themselves only the money

The question is, who gets the violation for the incorrect load? If it’s the driver, I can’t say i blame him - it’s his record.

I'm not a truck driver but if was me. load it right or it's a no go.

You keep saying, "prideful." Wrong! The driver may have a spotless record, and a violation would ruin that! This driver had "priciples!" That is what he was all about! That is hard for people who have no integrity to understand! Driver was right 💯❣️

Be sure to leave a crappy review on Google Maps warning others of this possibility. Your driver was right btw.

Pride my ass. Overweight is overweight. 🤦🏻♂️ “Everything would’ve been fine if he would’ve just drove illegal” is what this dude is saying. 😡

I worked in a warehouse and if a driver asks you to reposition the load you just do it. Whether it's about weight or just moving freight so it's easier to unload for the driver or the next receiver.
