I agree Marble Zone IS awesome

I never understood why people consider S1 'slow", I might not have known all of the speed pathing, as shown in this clip, but I did know a few of them, and I am not exactly looking for them either. But S1 is a solid title.

Marble Zone is literally a skill filter and a lot of these people are self reporting

Notice how despite having an amazing route your forced to come to a dead stop 3 seperate times? Thats where this level fails

No matter how fast you play the stage, the halts in momentum will shine a million times brighter than the fast sections.

I like Sonic 1 a lot and it becomes much stronger under a closer look. I do wish the skill floor was smoother since not knowing the level shouldn‘t punished with unengaging gameplay. It would also be great if you could make it on the spike platform in time if you are good enough.

Underrated asf stage aside from act 3, 1 and 2 are pretty good

Not gonna lie, I was hoping this level had more marbles in it when I was a kid

every time i see someone glazing a 2d sonic level without fail they post the types of clips that would be accompanied by random noise

Im really glad I have origins, the spindash and dropdash make it even better Marble zone is confusing and annoying on the first like 5 playthroughs but it's satisfying to run once you get the controls and level design in your head

@SgsGoofyStuff yeah marble zone is pretty bearable once you play it 100 times and memorize every twist and turn
