I've been off of it since Oct & I notice the food noise. BUT I lost 80 pounds with it. Getting the weight off helped me get to the point that I can now go to the gym 3 times a week. I hate it but I go. I'm still losing being off of it. It gave me a much needed jumpstart

When you start takin it you gotta change ya handle to KevOnOzempic tho 🫡

lol. I don’t think I’m gone do it.

Yea I wouldn't advise. Iono if yo head would look right on a skinny body js

I enjoy the noise. Something to look forward to 🤣

😂😂😂

I don’t get the Ozempic shaming. You tell people they need to lose weight, they do & we clown them for HOW they did it.

This partially why Ozempic is so effective for neurodivergent folks I know what food noise is cuz of ADHD hehe

Giving Ozempic the “O'reilly Auto Parts” jingle treatment is next level. They bout to hire you for marketing over there.

This why its so frustrating when people say "Have willpower!" They dont know what its like to constantly think about food 24/7! Food is always on your mind making it extremely hard to not cave in and eat. I only buy healthy foods but it doesnt matter. Over eating is over eating.

Every time you pop on my TL I think of James Worthy 😂😂

😂😂

The check big pharma gave her must have made her moist beyond her years

That was ozempic commercial 😭🤣

I went two days without eating on wegovy cause the thought of food never crossed my mind 😭

In a 2025 @planetmoney podcast episode (@NPR), they went through how discount versions filled the gap during a GLP-1 shortage and spoke to various patients. One was a man who says Ozempic didn’t just quiet his food noise, but his alcohol addiction too! 🤯

If you think semaglutide is strong…wait until you learn about Retatrutide….. What food noise What is food? Be sure to load up on protein no matter what glp-1 you use. The people saying “don’t do it” simply don’t understand it

I tried it for a couple of months and she’s absolutely right. Those crazy ass thoughts just vanish and all of a sudden you’re not hungry or even thinking about food. Weight just falls off.

Do it. Zepbound saved my life. I have lost 100+lbs in two years after being 300+ post pregnancy. It does more than quiet food noise. Helps blood pressure, shrinks stomach, boosts metabolism and overall mood elevation. I have been off it (due to $) and back on it cuz it’s awesome.

PSA: Never give control of your mind to any type of drugs or anyone else. You are in control. You just aren't disciplined. & if it's that serious, change your self image. You have control of that too.

Be careful, those drugs make you lose muscle mass pretty quickly, that's a big part of the weight loss. In some cases, people lose more muscle than fat.

It changes the functioning of the BRAIN STEM. Don't jank around your brain unless you have long money for the cure. Many scientists who worked on these meds do not use it. Their partners and wives are still a tad overweight. The thalidomide brigade is now the Ozempic brigade. 🤮

They say it curbs your appetite for most things like cigarettes, alcohol, and sex also.

That’s because that’s not how it works. Not in the course of 6 hours of your first dose. It’s very much a ramp up effect. To the point that yes it does quiet the food noise. But it just don’t happen overnight. Then the remembering to eat struggle starts.

it works for alcohol too. so those of whose with problematic tendencies toward liquor should talk to their doctor about it.

No, it's once you start to take a GLP1 when you realize just how much you think about food and how inflamed your body is because of it. The drug turns the food noise completely off.

Yes Kev, that’s part of how it works. Think about it, when you’re in a “zone” your body won’t even notice you ain’t ate… but any other time you thinking about Thanksgiving 2027 😶 a lot of the food craving just be your mind saying “we could eat” all day. O quiets those thoughts

Food noise is real. I recently modified my diet and when I eat and it's quelled the food noise down a lot. But zero food noise which I think is a product of sugar, highly processed foods and low protein diets sounds amazing.

It really does hush the noise the first day you take it. I never knew that only big backs like me think about food that much.

food romancers experiencing something much better than everyone else when they eat I wish I got that kind of pleasure from a meal

I was on a small dose of Oz for pre-diabetes since I had a bad reaction to Metformin. That said, never in my adult life have I ever had "food noise". Always a good relationship with food. Oz changed that relationship for the worse. I'm glad to be off of it now. I hated it😩

Only issue is you have to be on it for the rest of your life if you don't want the food noise to turn back on.

When I did intermittent fasting after the first 2 weeks it stopped the food noise and I didn't even think about or want sweets, or sodas. My diet changed without me realizing it

Eating right is easy, working out is the hard part.

Don't do it Kev.

For me it's about how you view food in your life. To me it's just Essential to fill the body need to survive and provide energy. When you look at food like that? It's no longer a hobby. Food should not be your hobby. It's suppose to work for your body not to make you want more.

I like the food noise.

Whodafuk wants to hear sh!t from Oprah????
