Looks like a Carpenter bee. They have no stinger. Only the males. Went to the Bee Keeper an ordered a dozen bees. Got home and I counted thirteen bees. Called the guy, he said keep it, free bee.

Was compelled to watch this entire video I found myself rooting for this bee mommy. Pretty sweet, actually

I'm about to put up my yearly carpenter bee traps to save my house and outbuildings from structural damage. Why'd you have to go and make them so cute? Damn it!

As a former student of beekeeping, that’s pretty damn cute. 🐝

POW's and prisoners have survived making friends with insects.....the human mind when slowing down to exact presence in time while focussing- is able to raise perception by 1000X. interesting video!

This is awesome. I fish spiders out of my sink and set them free. Can’t kill em.

I’ve seen this firsthand. I dated a woman who had a pet carpenter bee in her backyard. We would go out on the deck and it would fly straight to her and hang out with her. It would fly around for a while then right back to her. As long as we were out there it didn’t go too far away. It checked me out but kept its distance. She had a name for it, and there was a back story to how they became friends, but those brain cells have since expired…

so after finishing the whole video , what an adorable kid and so heart felt to take care of that little bee like that it’s just priceless. The care she takes of that little thing is also priceless , I love that little house she made for her.

Pretty girl. Wish she’d wash that extra black off though. I hope she & Beebee live harmoniously for awhile. You can tell she’s good people. 🐝

She's such a cute girl. I didn't really expect that.

That’s most likely a male carpenter bee. They don’t have stingers. Docile and social.

Very sweet! We live off grid on a ranch in the mountains of Costa Rica and have every sort of bug imaginable. Once a guy who installed a water filter system here asked to bring his wife and daughter here to see the incredible views we have. The daughter was a strange looking teen girl who said she loved spiders, so I showed her a big wolf spider that I'd seen in the master bathroom earlier. They kill call cockroaches so I leave them alone This particular type runs 2.5 to 3" in diameter and they move like lightning, so I give the space. But this girl sees it and exclaims "Que preciosa!" and damned if the thing didn't jump right onto her forearm. I don't know what it is with some goth type girls and scary creatures like this, but it's real. More power to them!

It’s not crazy to think this bee has a personality. I used to have a lizard family come out every morning on my patio and respond to my speech and prompts.

I found a little gecko 🦎 who lives under a nice rock in my backyard. He goes out during the day and comes back at night and snuggles right back under. We named him Larry 💜

They live one - three years. Who knew. Very cute video.

It is compromised by a varroa mite.

Seriously, nobody was rooting for the bee to sting her? I was.

I have a carpenter bee friend. It flies up close to my face and I say hi. She knows I am not a threat. If I find any injured ones now I know what to do. Thanks for posting 🐝

I was so afraid the cat was going to whack it or eat it. Sweet vid.

Everybody needs a little Sugahhh!

I almost died laughing!!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 The bee tries to commit suicide!!!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

It's all fun and games till that thing stings the shit out of her.

I wish this woman was my neighbor.

I enjoyed watching that so much thank you for sharing! What a sweet girl. Was not expecting that from her appearance. Love her empathy!!

Wait, she's misgendering this poor bee. I see a lawsuit and a tantrum in her future.

Good observations! This is how we learn: These skills sets could even land a job within animals behaviors/training world. We know so little, and there's still so much to learn. Kudos to this young women for having empathy while attempting to see world through other lenses.

Never judge a book by its cover. Sweet girl. How many days will that block of pollen last, I wonder? LOL

@Jones242217 Aww how sweet! Love it! 🥰

The most wholesome content I've seen from anyone who looks like that and I'm here for it. If she's focused on the bee it's keeping her out of other trouble. All good 🐝😊

Did she just describe herself as an empath…?! Like…you mean a normal human being..?!

I could get into this bees life! I like the young woman, too. 🐝💖

so crazy but so cool. Doesn't sound like she works out but never mentions working? I would totally stay home and raise a bee if my bills magically got paid :)

Who wants to break it to her that it’s a bumblebee moth not a carpenter bee?

Something new I learned to because of watching this video. It raised my curiosity. Carpenter bees typically live for about one year, with their life cycle spanning from spring to the following spring. While most die within a year, female carpenter bees can live up to two or even three years in certain circumstances. Key Facts on Carpenter Bee Lifespan: •Life Cycle: Eggs are laid in spring, larvae develop over summer, and new adults emerge in late summer, hibernating over winter to emerge, mate, and start the cycle again the following spring. •Male Lifespan: Males generally live for about one year, often dying shortly after mating. •Female Lifespan: Females live longer than males, sometimes surviving for multiple seasons to reuse or expand nesting tunnels. •Generations: There are typically one or two generations per year. • Although they have a short lifespan, the same nest tunnels are often used for multiple years, with new generations boring deeper into the wood.

People that are this nice and caring to all animals like this are pretty special in my eyes. I hope this young lady has the most peaceful and fulfilled life to match the life she’s given her bee 😊
