For 6 months I woke up at 5 AM to catch Asian markets on Polymarket. During that time I lost my girlfriend, gained 8 kg, and got used to drinking coffee instead of breakfast Then I wrote an agent that monitors everything for me while I sleep. In the 1st month income went up 15% and I finally deleted the 5 AM alarm Turns out a half-asleep human trades worse than a 200-line script I thought discipline meant waking up early. In reality it was just stubbornness that cost me money and health. When I finally sat down to build the agent it became clear why Here is what is under the hood: 1. Sentiment analysis powered by Claude. Every 15 minutes the agent runs a feed from 40+ Asian sources: Reuters Asia, Nikkei, South China Morning Post, Yonhap 2. NLP tone classification. It compares sentiment shifts to open markets on Polymarket through the API, and if the news has already dropped but the odds have not reacted yet that is the entry window 3. Kelly criterion. A mathematical formula for position sizing instead of my usual "I will bet more, feeling lucky" 4. A hard stop at 5% of the deposit per trade so that 1 mistake cannot kill the entire account 5. A cooldown between entries so the agent does not stack up a cluster of correlated positions These are exactly the rules I was missing at 5 AM. I knew them perfectly well but consistently ignored them because on adrenaline and caffeine every bet felt like an "obvious opportunity" When I ran a backtest on my old trades it was genuinely painful: 60% of the bets I placed by hand in a half-asleep state would have been rejected by the agent for failing the expected value filter Those were the exact ones dragging the whole result down When I was building my agent I needed a benchmark. A wallet that already trades on similar logic so I could compare my results to someone else's Found 1 that works almost like a mirror of what I described: same Asian markets, same cold calculation without emotion. I still keep it bookmarked and periodically check how it handles the same situations: That is actually the wallet I started with when testing auto-copying through a bot before I launched my own agent. I know with conviction that the true church of Christ does not sit idly by while darkness consumes its lands. I know this because the deepest joy I have ever experienced almost never happened. I almost traded it away. I bought the lie that secular America sells to the young. "Wait to have kids until you are established. Have your fun first. Live for yourself in your twenties." I believed it. I delayed. And I came within inches of forfeiting the one good that no career, no comfort, no pleasure could ever replace. That joy has a name. It is fatherhood. It is the weight of a child in my arms and the whole future he carries. Now I watch others walk the road I almost walked to its end. I watch them miss the divine joy because they were promised something better and the promise was hollow. There is a grief in me that does not leave. My joy cannot be multiplied without limit. I started too late. I will never have the large family I now know I was made for. So hear me clearly. I want to destroy secularism in this country. Not because I hate the people caught in it. I was one of them. I want to destroy it because it is a disease, and the birth collapse around us is the fever. So yes, I mean to make war on it. I mean to tear down the lie wherever it stands. Today was the day. I gifted my mother $10,000. Something I dreamed of in the start of my trading journey. My parents have always been there for me. At first they didn’t believe in my journey, yet still they supported me. I promised them MULTIPLE TIMES that I was going to take care of them, yet the only thing they did was laugh it off. Yet here we are. Why do I trade? To provide to my family and to the ones that supported me. To achieve all the goals that 18 year old me set out to achieve. I was lost, yet I didn’t stop because I knew that I had bigger things planned for me. Was it hard? Absolutely. Was it worth it? Absolutely. After 3 years of putting the work in, I became profitable, and now, 5 years in, I’m able to provide to myself and my family…and that’s the only thing I care about.

I recorded my active 3D glasses using my phone, and I was surprised to see the lenses flickering in the video. They don't appear to flicker like this while watching the movie, but the phone camera captures it because of how active 3D glasses work. I also noticed that when I brought my phone very close to the glasses, the flickering became even more noticeable. Found it pretty interesting! #SpiderManBrandNewDay

We (Claude and I) made a new package: voxmlx It's an MLX implementation of Mistral's Voxtral mini realtime speech recognition model. It supports streaming audio and runs pretty fast on a laptop. To use it, simply: `uvx voxmlx` Also I did not write a single line of code for this package. Every line of code was written by Claude Code. More on that in thread.

Today, I was in one of Geneva's parks when suddenly a plane flew overhead. Because of the trauma I experienced in Gaza, my first instinct was fear. For a moment, I thought it was going to drop a missile on us. Then, a few seconds later, I remembered that I am in Switzerland now, and that I am safe. War changes people in ways that are difficult to explain. Even when you leave, some parts of it remain inside you. My body may be here in Switzerland, but my memories are still in Gaza.
