An even more insane clip from last night - the sky literally turned into a portal to another universe, it didn't feel real. This aurora explosion was one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. I filmed this in Fairbanks, Alaska at around 10:33 pm AKDT. This is now the best aurora I have ever seen in my lifetime, and talking to friends who have lived in Alaska and chased aurora full time for years, they say this tops it for them, too. The first of many timelapses from Thusday night - in this video you can see the aurora appears immediately after sunset, a sign that activity was strong! The colors from this G4 "severe" geomagnetic storm were unreal. I swear I saw the entire rainbow that night in the aurora. This was by far the best auroral display I have seen in my entire life, and I have seen hundreds. I am so exctited to see what solar cycle 25 maximum has in store and all the great auroral displays that are yet to come. Dr. Tamitha Skov #aurora #northernlights #space Storyful Viral ViralHog

Pumped to share my #auroreye footage from October 8! This was quite a colorful night of aurora! Fantastic blood red northern lights all night long with super interesting formations and features. There are substorms at the beginning and end of the sequence. Really enjoy this.

Recorded August 4th 2026 from County Meath, Ireland. And with the Sionyx Aurora night vision camera. I set up the camera on the tripod last night and was sitting in my shed using my phone to operate the camera. First time doing it and I'll be doing it more often, especially in the winter. I have some more footage that I'll post later this evening but this was the highlight of the night. Absolutely stunning. #orbs #ufox #ireland

Everyone, check out the substorm around 1 am AKST that happened tonight. My roommate who is an aurora tour guide said this was the best aurora of her entire life. I'm kicking myself for not being in Alaska to see this... I fly back in two days! 2025 is going to be amazing!

Just had to share this video I just downloaded from my camera of the INSANE pulsating aurora last night in Fairbanks, Alaska. Mesmerizing to see the sky light up like this. The video is not sped up at all and the pulsations were easily visible to the naked eye.
