YES! Bakugo needed this no-holds-barred fight to work through everything he's been dealing with. This fight allowed him to come to terms with things he would never have been able to accept otherwise. And from here, he can finally grow and become better.

This fight deadass made them brothers afterwards, on god it was necessary

Something I love about this fight, having finished the manga, is that the hard truths Bakugo had to swallow about his mentality happen directly because he still won. It’s only after this scrap that Bakugo starts learning how to win fights in a positive, meaningful way.

These convos and this fight is SO GOOD. This is when I became a D1 bakugo fan. The voice work especially is so impactful and if im correct both VAs lost their voice or at least hurt their voice during the recording of this episode
