Yeah, and i think they chose the lady of the lake cause it fits Amy perfectly. First, her connection with Neverlake from Sonic CD. And then the magic powers aka The fortune cards and also her connection with nature. Maybe Rouge would've been Guinevere 🤔

@MohamedSon77333 i personally like to think sonic slightly changed the events when retelling the story to amy because the idea of amy and shadow together pisses him off i have an AU where everything is the same but amy is guinevere and tikal is the lady of the lake

From what I remember reading about is that Guinevere had a son from King arthur, aka Sonic, cause they were married, and then Lancelot entered the scene and became Arthur's most trusted knight. Then, he got in a secret relationship with his wife. It's so messed up 😂

@MohamedSon77333 it depends! in some versions of the story they do have children, but in most stories they were apparently a childless marriage

oh, I forgot the different versions. I remember reading about Nimue, and it has some differences but not that big. another thing i found both cute and heartwarming is that nimue taking care of little Lancelot and her taking dying arthur to his final rest after his last battle

No. In Arthurian legend, Lancelot was adopted and raised by Nimue when he was a child, then she sent him to Arthur’s court. And yes, he does have a son (Galahad). but with Elaine of Corbenic

Hmm. IDK maybe Sonic fanfics or they mixed things up? but in the actual Arthurian legends. Nimue is always described as lancelot's adaptive mother. lancelot's love interests are Guinevere and Elaine
