I can probably have a much more robust system if I tied it into the Grok API. but using grok to generate the tags would get expensive for many players typing many commands. Keeping it plain old NLP is sufficient for my needs for now.

I didn't give it a generic prompt. I sort of walked it through the process. I asked for NLP parser libraries that would be suitable then started with asking it to handle directions, then add a command loop, then add handling attacks, etc. Took me awhile.

Enough with the tattoos, flashy banners, and sugar-coated words. For this giveaway, I wanted to keep things simple and focus on something fun instead. My entry is inspired by a game that once took the entire world by storm. Grok Build just created a game called Grok Racer for me. The great thing is that I told Grok to use Grok Imagine for the images in the game and it did! That’s fantastic and proves that Grok Imagine can also be used for active game coding. It works well and looks so cool.

This weekend I explored making another game prototype. I grew up playing simulation games like Game Dev Studio and Dungeon Village, so I thought it would be fun to make an MMO dev studio game, where you are the developer building a fledgling MMO for players to play in. I got it to a point where you have. tech tree where you can earn XP and unlock some buildings, NPCs and mobs, enough for me to test the core game loop, but somehow I still feel like it's missing something. I might revisit this in the future, but it was fun being able to explore making a game in a genre I haven't really tried before.

What I said today, like I mentioned on stage, is that I can't go back and fix the past, but I don't want any mistakes to happen in their future. I've hurt people before, so I want to try to change their future. Whether I can or can't, I'm glad I got to give them some advice. What did I gain from this? First, practicing speaking, because it was my first time doing this. I've never done anything like it before. It was completely new to me. There's a lot I need to improve, like my speaking tone and how I control the situation. It was a new experience, and it's also something I've always wanted to try. Like I said, being an actress makes my life meaningful. If telling a story like this can change someone's life, then that's meaningful for my life too.

I asked Wayne to give me a short list of things he wanted to work on. One of those things, in his words, was “lift.” “When I miss, it’s short.” So we set out to find a feeling. I used the tee earlier in the week with another player for different reasons, but it felt like a simple way to help Wayne experience getting under the ball differently. It also became a reference point. Something we could keep returning to as we explored other movements. Sometimes that’s all it takes. I love the simplicity of something like a tee. Beginner’s mind. Something kids use that we can return to. I make shooting simple. Follow me.
