Mormon Jesus and traditional Christian Jesus are two different people. That’s the most important difference IMHO. You believe in a different Christ and also, a different god

All well stated. When fellow Christians appeal to differences in our understandings of the nature of God, it reminds me of when JWsv used to use the concept of Jesus having short hair as one of their main talking points. Like, okay, that's all great and good, but that is not as important as the fact that Jesus atoned for our sins and overcame death for us. I think that it would be better if we (myself included) would remind our fellow Christians that, even if we disagree on the nature of God's being/essence, we agree on the infinitely more important aspects of God's character and achievements.

Great points. Personally, I find it silly that I should be bothered by what other denominations think when Christ calls us after His name and tells us His will in canonized scripture and through his prophets. They don't have to believe it, but that really isn't relevant to me.

You’re different nature of god, is literally god not being all powerful, and being a human man once.

You have to realize as well that Christian = Saved in their view. So even if we agreed on the Trinity bc we have ordinances in our temple, they would say no. They said it to Catholics and even other faiths. So chasing their definition of Christian is moot. Christ is the Judge

I am a Christian. I know that my Redeemer lives. What comfort this sweet sentence gives! He lives, he lives, who once was dead. He lives, my ever-living Head. He lives! All glory to his name! Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives: “I know that my Redeemer lives!”
