Now that I am home and have access to my files I decided to do a quick test with one of my Vtubing avatars. It works way better with my larger iPad Pro (less crashing/more memory and more screen space) compared to the mini so I did want to bring that up. Importing the file over as GLB was more stable than just OBJ plus it kept the color info from the previous texture. I texture all my avatars on substance painter but have been looking at an alternative when I am out and about that is not on the computer and this actually hits all the right "wants". Adding a quick video of the way the app works for me. I like that it has layers, I can alter my brushes and even add stabilization when I am drawing (which I use that extensively on procreate so that was a huge plus). The stamp tools will come in handy as well but did not show it on this video. The file itself is imported as "one mesh" but each part is treated as their own separate piece which I show in the video. I do the same thing on substance painter making it really easy for me to texture. The app then exports the texture out for each object which is the same way I do so on substance. Overall I am extremely impressed with the work Sparseal has done on this application and see how useful this will be for my current work flow of texturing. I for one love the ability to be "portable" which is a big reason I sculpt so much with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Having the freedom to do your work away from a desk and if you feel like doing it outside is probable why I yearn for iPad apps so much like so. Give this app a look, it is free to try on the App Store (It is $19 to be able to export, but a one time buy). It is called "Wafer" for the iPad. I already use CozyBlanket from the same creator to do re topology so I expected this level of fantastic with this current app.

The END of an ERA Well over a Quarter of a Million Users Built on the Support of this Community Squatingdog for Fortnite's time is finally up This is an emotional post to share. I've been a part of this community since Fortnite's inception. I've created guides, cheatsheets, and concepts since the very beginning by helping players maximize their battle-passes. Along the way you've supported me with my support-a-creator and every dime of that went back to you in a free app which has evolved from the mere cheat sheet. I put in ads and Twitch support to cover the cost of the servers and was able to maintain them up until now. However it is time to put the app to rest. The reason for this comes two fold, one is that Fortnite themselves has engulfed every aspect of what made this app a valuable tool to a player. Secondly, I am building up a company from the ground up to maximize the potential of Fortnite Creative. Both of these two hand in hand make updating this app more and more difficult to maintain. My time is becoming scarce with these new intitatives, also with a child on the way, and becoming a home owner very soon it is very clear that it is time to shut down or sell my app. (if you are interested let me know) This isn't goodbye by any means. I am proud of what I created and am only more proud of what to show you next! A lot has been brewing behind the scenes. Stay tuned, and much love!

And so it begins. YouTube Just took down my video and issued me a warning strike for my latest video react to Brandon Herrera's latest Darwin Awards. Can someone at TeamYouTube explain how a video I reacted to is still up and fully accessible (and rightly so because there's nothing wrong with it) and yet MY video gets taken down, even after I'd actually edited out some parts before posting, and I get a strike for it. Just what the hell is going on?!? Can I please get a HUMAN to look at this for once??? Oh and just so there's full transparency here, I'm going to post the full video that I received a strike for in this tweet so anyone can view it. I just hit 100k subscribers on YouTube and I'm stoked. Which is why I've decided to give this whole content creation thing a real shot. Starting today, I am going to stream consistently on Twitch and regularly upload to my channel. A little back story on how I got here. Before I created content I suffered from clinical depression after having my thyroid removed due to cancer. I would escape by watching streams and gaming videos to relax. One day I decided to just give it a shot. So I hooked up my computer and talked into a very cheap mic and started streaming. It went terribly, but honestly... I was thrilled. Then I took some of that footage and edited it down like I did with skate videos to some random song that reminded me of a model runway. Took forever to get done on my free time. I got one encouraging comment... And I was absolutely thrilled. These days I get comments from people who tell me what they're struggling through and how my videos helped them forget about it for an hour. And every time that happens, I'm reminded of why I do this. To pay back for all the times I was entertained when I was having a hard time. It seems so dumb, but man... I can't tell you what a stupid little video or silly stream can do for someone having a really hard time. I'm not sure if this is going to work... But I'm going to give it a try. Even if I fail, I'm not going to stop creating. I got exciting plans for the future but this is the first step. Where it takes me... I'm not sure. I hope you all come along. Regardless. Thanks to all of you for supporting me and helping me out. I never thought I'd hit 100k or have any type of following. Not in a million years. I am grateful and appreciative. Here's to what comes next I guess. Tea is life. ☕️
