Nice eye-candy. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. Most people understand that migrating to Linux isn't as simple as just switching operating systems. You must change your entire workflow due to the incompatibility of most software you use on a daily basis. Sure, some of them have native support, and even then, often with limitations or update intervals longer than Debian's. At the end of the day, the system must be usable. No person is just going to sit there flipping through wallpapers or admiring the cool effects when switching apps. They actually need to get work done instead of trying to troubleshoot or find open-source alternatives to software they could just install and use on other operating systems.
