I am compelled to share a deeply concerning experience that occurred to me on Monday, 12/04/2026 at around 12:03 which poses a serious risk not only to motorists but to public safety at large. After filling up my vehicle with a full tank of fuel at Oasis Filling Station...

Shell in the Spotlight Again as More Motorists Blame Contaminated Fuel Sold at Their Stations for Engine Damage Fuel service stations operated under the Shell brand, which is managed by Vivo Energy Kenya, are once again on the spot after another frustrated motorist blamed poor-quality fuel for allegedly damaging his car engine. The incident reportedly happened just moments after the driver refueled at Shell Links Road in Mombasa when the vehicle began losing power on the way to Voi. Despite pushing forward, the problem worsened, and the car eventually stalled a few kilometres before Kitui, forcing the motorist to seek emergency mechanical assistance. A mechanic from Kitui ran a diagnostic test and found severe engine damage, including a completely worn-out piston, citing contaminated fuel as the likely cause of the problem. With no alternative, the motorist had the vehicle towed back to Mombasa and reported the matter to Vivo Energy Kenya. A representative from the company requested a fuel sample for testing at their laboratory. On Tuesday, they informed her that the sample had passed all tests. The motorist, dissatisfied with Vivo Energy’s response, instructed his mechanic to conduct a more thorough inspection of the engine to determine the extent of the damage. Upon dismantling the engine, the mechanic once again confirmed that one piston was completely worn out, an issue he attributed to contaminated fuel. According to the mechanic, the level of damage was consistent with prolonged exposure to poor-quality fuel, suggesting that the problem began soon after refueling. The motorist, convinced that bad fuel was responsible, claims to have gathered video evidence showing the fuel sample in a mixed and compromised state. She insists that the sample, which was taken directly from her vehicle, appeared discoloured and inconsistent with what is expected of high-grade V-Power petrol. Despite presenting this evidence, Vivo Energy reportedly maintained that their tests found no issues with the fuel. The motorist is now escalating the matter, determined to hold Vivo Energy accountable for the damage. She has shared video evidence, showing the contaminated fuel and is calling for independent testing to verify its quality. Frustrated by what she sees as the company’s unwillingness to take responsibility, she is considering legal action and has reached out to consumer rights groups for support. This case adds to growing complaints from Kenyan motorists about fuel quality, with recent independent tests exposing major discrepancies in octane levels at several stations. An automotive content creator Kim JH of Tanuki Garage recently went around Nairobi, purchasing fuel samples from different stations and conducting on-the-spot octane tests. The findings revealed that some premium fuels, including Shell V-Power, underperformed compared to standard fuels. For instance, Total Limuru Road recorded the highest performance with a PON of 92, while Shell V-Power scored lower, challenging the common perception of premium fuel superiority. His findings, shared widely on social media, sparked outrage, with motorists demanding accountability from fuel retailers. Following the viral exposé, oil marketers, including Vivo Energy rushed to dismiss the findings, arguing that independent tests lacked credibility and did not follow industry-approved procedures. Shell Kenya, through Vivo Energy, insisted that its fuel met regulatory standards, pointing to tests conducted by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA). However, the issue has refused to die down as more motorists continue to report unusual engine problems after refueling from previously reputable stations. Meanwhile, consumer advocacy groups have joined the debate, urging EPRA to conduct random and independent fuel quality tests at petrol stations across the country. They argue that the current reliance on oil marketers’ internal tests is inadequate and fails to protect motorists from potentially damaging fuel. The controversy has also drawn the attention of lawmakers, with some calling for stricter oversight and stiffer penalties for companies found selling substandard fuel. For motorists like the one affected at Shell Links Road, the issue is not just about technical standards but about accountability and compensation for the damage suffered. "Hi Nyakundi. I am Here to seek your intervention I fueled at shell links road ,vpower on Saturday, by the time I reached voi my car lost power I kept going but got worse as I moved. A few kms before kitui, the car stalled...I called a mechanic from kitui who came with a diagnosis machine and from what he said,I had put bad fuel. I towed the car back to msa. I reported to vivo. A guy from vivo by the name Brian mbaabu called and asked me to take the fuel for tests in their lab. He then called yesterday, on Tues and said that the sample passed all tests.... I asked my mechanic to open up the engine and to our surprise one piston is totally worn out an indication of bad fuel I will attach all I have including videos as I got the sample and it's all mixed up"

Hi Nyakundi can you please expose Rubis petrol station in Kahawa West? They completely messed up my car. On Saturday, 06/04/2024, at 8:42 PM, I fueled 3k. My car is a hybrid. Upon leaving the station, I experienced a loss of power and serious trembling. I assumed it was a minor issue and got home. The following day, Sunday, upon igniting the car, it trembled seriously, and the check engine light along with all dashboard lights turned on. I called my mechanic for diagnosis, and at this point, we realized there were random misfires. I went ahead and replaced the cylinder coils and spark plugs on Monday, 07/04/2024. However, the problem worsened. We then realized that the inverter module in the gearbox was faulty. I proceeded to purchase a new gearbox (receipts can be available upon request). After installation, the car didn't even go 300 meters before it stalled. At this point, I engaged a breakdown service, and the car was towed to the garage (Shamas Gearbox Technician at Madaraka). Another gearbox was replaced, but the same issue occurred again. At this point, the mechanic decided to sample the fuel, only to find that it was a mixture of sewage and petrol. The fuel tank was disconnected, and all the contaminated substance was drained (I have samples of this raw sewage mixed with fuel). This should create awareness for people facing similar problems. The 3k fuel has costed me more than 200k. Anyone seeing this should avoid Rubis at all costs. Here is a conversation between me and the attendant who served me. They knew the fuel had issues but they still choose to spoil people's cars. This one really hit me hard.

It hurts to say this, but it’s the truth. I’m disappointed in the amount of issues I’ve had with my R1S. This is going to be a long post. I’m disappointed that an issue that was found AT DELIVERY (Feb 8th, 2024) is still not solved. I owe it to all of you, especially my followers, to be open and honest. No car is perfect, but at some point you have to stop with the “I’m going to be nice and keep giving you chance after chance.” I live about 90 miles away from my service center. So that is 180 miles round trip. I’ve had 8 service appointments with number 9 scheduled for this Monday! 9th appt is for the R1T front driver suspension sagging. Some of my issues were solved. But the major issue on my R1S is not resolved sadly. The issue is my passenger door. It’s badly out of alignment, makes lots of noise when driving and rattles. The door has been realigned 4x now, the hinges have been replaced and it’s still making the noise and rattling and not able to be aligned. Now, the door is worse than at delivery and is rubbing the fender when you open it. It has now pulled paint off the door. I was told, that “Other R1S are doing this and currently no fix that engineering will have to come up with some fix.” Video attached. My R1S & R1T are leased. Between my R1T and my R1S, I have driven roughly 1450 miles of my lease mileage limit in service appt trips. I think this is unacceptable for ANY Vehicle regardless of power train. The R1S has done about 1k miles of the 1450. What I would say going forward, if you are buying a Rivian product, DO NOT TAKE DELIVERY of the vehicle if there is anything wrong with it at all. Make them find you another VIN. I still support Rivian. They are dear to my heart. But enough is enough. With almost 200k worth of vehicles in my garage, this is NOT the experience anyone would expect. I have had my share of issues with my Tesla vehicles, but nothing to this scale where I have been to a service center this much so early in the ownership. I have begun background processing about the situation, and expressed our intention and what we want done. I want to make this clear as well: every time I go to service, they are super nice & friendly. I appreciate that so much but, at the end of the day, it can’t get my R1S fixed. I will still continue to support Rivian just like I do with all EVs. But this does make me question my R2 purchase when it comes time. As much as I don’t want to go back to an all Tesla household, it’s looking like that is what will happen. I strongly LOVE my R1S. It’s been one of my absolute favorites. Mine just isn’t built well at all and sours the entire experience. Maybe if the background process makes progress and they do the right thing, or replace the vehicle our perception can change. There are plenty of ppl out there without issue. So keep that in mind. I’m just not one of them unfortunately. I’ll do my best to keep this updated as things progress. I’m hoping Rivian just does the right thing.

I regret to inform my iRacing friends that I have been suspended from the iRacing service as well as the upcoming Coke Series race at Iowa for “intentionally causing a caution” during the eNASCAR race at Kansas. This is of course pending an ongoing appeal process that JRM and I are going through while this is still playing out. I’m simply stunned at this ruling and I want to be perfectly clear… I did not, nor would I ever, intentionally spin to bring out a caution. I have far too much respect for the folks I represent and the people I race with to do so. The attached replay clearly shows me trying to gain control of the car after receiving suspension damage from an impact with the wall, and unfortunately I failed to do so. A mistake on my part no doubt, but nothing close to substantiating the claim that I had intent to manipulate the race. My replay is up here and my twitch vod is available for anyone who wants to view it showing my perspective of the incident… I have absolutely nothing to hide. None of those things (my replay, telemetry, or stream view) were utilized by the decision makers before coming to their conclusion. It is my hope that with this information provided in the appeal process, that it will clear my name of any wrongdoing. Regardless of their eventual decision, my conscience is clear on the matter and I take solace in knowing that I did nothing in line with what they have accused me of. I’m grateful to JRM for their continued support and the work they’re doing in attempting to get this ruling overturned. I apologize to them that they had to waste time dealing with this nonsense. I hate that I may not be behind the wheel for them in the #8 at Iowa because it truly is an awesome privilege being in this series, but I look forward to racing whenever that return might be. I reckon I’ll be back on iRacing when my suspension is up or this appeal is rightfully reversed. Hopefully by then I’ll have learned my lesson and be better at saving wrecked cars with unrepairable suspension damage. Maybe with the new build it’ll be easier, who knows. I guess we’ll see! ✌️

REPORT: Karmelo Anthony supporters are now using government entities (CPS and LE) to do their dirty work and target me in an effort to silence my reporting on the m*rder of Austin Metcalf. I’ve prayed about whether I should post this publicly, and I have decided to do so because people need to know just how badly I am being targeted right now for simply being a lead journalist reporting on the Metcalf/Anthony case. On Sunday, August 24th, my home was swatted. Aside from the emotional distress this caused, especially as I was past my due date, we recovered and appreciated how well the department handled the incident. That same night, I went into labor. I labored at home from 11 PM until 3 AM, then headed to the hospital on the morning of August 25th. Then, at 12 noon on the 25th, while I was in the hospital in active labor, I received a phone call from my teenage son that Child Protective Services was at our door. I shouldn’t have to explain the extreme and immediate emotional distress this caused me and my family. Only cowards use the government to do their dirty work. This is the first time I have posted publicly about this incident. However, Karmelo Anthony supporters have posted multiple times in the past week about “calling CPS on Sarah Fields,” have discussed it in TikTok Lives, have stated that there is a “master plan” to silence me via private Zoom meetings held by Tiffney Billions, and have shared links to petitions encouraging individuals to call and have CPS investigate me and my family. Allow me to be perfectly clear: you do not know what kind of box you just opened with me. My tenacity to keep going and not be intimidated is only matched by my utter hatred of the Department of Child Services, an evil entity that I have repeatedly exposed for targeting good families and its involvement in trafficking children, particularly children from across the southern border. I will investigate harder, I will leave no stone unturned, and I will not be intimidated into walking away from my reporting on this case, nor will I abandon those who have supported my work, including the Metcalfs, the parents of the children of Frisco ISD, and former employees who have been targeted and doxxed by Anthony supporters. My work has been followed by those who are hungry for the truth and facts on this case, who know that the mainstream media will not provide it. CPS is claiming they must conduct a full investigation based on reports being made, even though the reports are baseless, clear harassment in a campaign against me, and lack a single shred of evidence. My attorney, CJ Grisham, has taken the reins on this. We will not be terr0rized, and our peace will not be disturbed. The answer is “no.”

Check check check is this thing on? First, I’d like to take a moment to provide an update, as I have an extremely busy weekend ahead covering the news, given that this could be a life-threatening tornado outbreak weather event. As many of you may have noticed, I’ve been offline from the Rawsalerts platform for the past few weeks. I took a short break from social media to focus on my health, which is my top priority. However, no one is going to stop me, and I am ready to return and post. My goal is to cover stories and breaking news, not to engage in childish internet drama about my personal life, which is private and nobody’s business. This unnecessary distraction has already taken up time and energy that cannot be recouped, and I will no longer engage in any further back-and-forth on this matter. Secondly, I want to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to all my friends and supporters who have reached out to check on me and stood by me during this challenging time. Your unwavering support means more to me than words can convey as Your encouragement not only makes a difference but also reveals who my real fans and supporters truly are. I severely underestimated the overwhelming stress and hardship that comes with being doxxed. Let me be clear Rawsalerts has never been about me or my personal life. Its sole purpose has always been to provide fast, accurate, and continuous coverage of breaking news when it matters most. The organic following I’ve built stands as undeniable proof of the platform’s integrity and the critical role it plays in keeping people informed. My dedication to Rawsalerts remains unwavering. I have invested countless hours of time, energy, and personal sacrifices into building a platform that delivers timely, reliable information, pouring my heart into every aspect of it. If anyone chooses to focus on my personal life rather than the breaking news I share, I won’t be influenced by baseless judgments or opinions. Serious and entirely false accusations and smear campaigns have been made against me accusations that are both defamatory and without merit. These claims are currently under thorough investigation, and I am treating this matter with the utmost seriousness. Due to the ongoing legal process, I will not be disclosing further details until a resolution is reached, whether civil or criminal. Please be assured that this issue is being addressed with the highest level of attention and diligence. Through Rawsalerts, I’ve been fortunate to connect with incredibly talented individuals and build supportive, meaningful friendships on this platform. Many of them know me personally and stand by me, recognizing the positive impact this platform has had on people’s lives and understanding the real me, rather than believing baseless lies and smears, as I am in possession of the true facts, not them. Now let's get back to posting news♥️
