I am convinced that Donald Trump could essentially start supporting all liberal caues and policies, and still hold the support of his base. Just like he was "Pro-choice" in the 90s, I honestly don't believe he's a Republican. I believe he is whatever he needs to be in order...

People vote for Donald Trump over a party because he listens to the people and actually represents them. Democrats vote for a party because their television tells them to.

MAGA is no longer even a party, it’s a religion.

I think some people could call it that.

I would say you are incorrect. Trump is not a Republican, he is America 1st, Republican is just way closer aligned, Trumps base is America 1st

Considering how much of his base is not happy with his stance on the vaccine, I don't think I agree with you.

Yeah but he'll get support no matter what.

Nothing drives the left crazier than the love that Trump supporters have for President Trump. Trying to paint as cultists is hilarious, considering that they support a pedophile guy (just ask his kids) with obvious dementia.

This is exactly why I like Trump, he is not your traditional Republican. He is like me, a former Democrat turned Republican.

MAGA simply wants better for people domestically. I can't see anything wrong with taking care of Americans first over the rest. That's literally just it. Follow the Constitution, take care of our own, Team America first. It conflicts with the Global Unification agenda, however...

Vivek Ramaswamy might just be playing the 2024 election cycle perfectly. He’s defending and complimenting Trump every chance he gets. This has led many people to claim that he’s really running to be Trump’s Vice President. After watching his interview with Tucker Carlson, I think most people just don't get it. Vivek knows Trump. He knows that Trump has a really difficult time attacking those whom he believes are loyal to him. Vivek is playing this just right. While Trump supporters already despise Ron DeSantis, none of them really have anything bad to say about Vivek. Vivek is essentially the younger, better looking, more intelligent, more charming, more electable version of Donald Trump, without any of the baggage that Trump brings. Vivek knows that if Trump is convicted, much of the GOP will likely do all they can to try and pick a new candidate, and there will really only be one choice left: Vivek Ramaswamy. For the record, I really disagree with Vivek on the vast majority of his politics, but I think he could take a large amount of the independent vote away from Biden, which Trump could not do. He could do all of this without losing the support of the MAGA base if he keeps playing his cards right. The biggest factor of all though, is that he would not bring nearly as many Democrats out to the polls merely to vote against the GOP that Trump would. I'd love to hear your thoughts no matter where you stand politically. Does Vivek have a chance? Would he give the GOP the best chance to defeat Biden?
