Death is no longer terrifying... This life is more terrifying... We still struggle every day to get food. They are still besieging us and using starvation as a weapon against us.. Me, the cats, and my family are all fine. The video below is of my daughter Julia helping me take care of the cats.. there is an idea came to my mind to plant a garden in order to get some vegetables. I bought the seeds from the black market for very ridiculous amounts.. and it will take approximately 3 months for the vegetables to mature.. We don't know if we will stay in the north or if we will live to eat from it. But it is worth the risk... because we miss eating fresh vegetables.. I hope you will support me to get through these difficult times We depend on the black market to get food and food is 100 times its basic price. Hugging Face is the open model hub: it hosts model weights, datasets, evals, & demo apps, and maintains the open-source libraries (like transformers) used to run and train them. I think of it like GitHub, but for AI models. You can download open models and run them on your own machines. In this series we'll cover what open source and open weight models are, how they work, how to run them yourself, and why they're important. By the way - this video is edited entirely with Claude! I can make a tutorial on how I did it. If there's a question you want answered about open models, leave it in the comments. We will read them all. Episode 1 is out soon.

I had to do this of course - test out the new Google Omni Flash model with my favorite 3d art sandbox - Dreams. Just a quick test for now.. I'll be sharing more examples and techniques soon but wanted to show you this one. There's something very fitting about combining "handmade" 3d models and animations sculpted from scratch in software that runs on 2013 hardware, with some of the most advanced AI technology in the world. As part of my work for Google, I've used Google V2V models on a few different projects now - Ancestra, Dear Upstairs Neighbors and most recently one of the IO films (I'll share more about that project soon) 🥰 - and video continues to be my favorite form of input for Generative Ai workflows. If an image says more than a thousand words, a video says more than a million. And knowing that these capabilities are now in the hands of all of you, makes me very excited to see the new workflows and projects that will come out of it. What do you think of Omni so far?
