I am dealing with a coordinated bot attack. I have gained 1000 to 2000 new followers within a few hours. The accounts are blank and were all created this month. Happening for a few days straight. How do I fight this? Should I put my account in private temporarily?

lol the only way to grow on this platform now is to be included in the starter packs for new users to select. These are the accounts x selected under the meme account starter pack. There are literally only like 5 meme accounts in this starter pack. How tf is Martin Shkreli a meme account? I have noticed a few accounts that have exploded out of no where with zero viral posts. Literally have gained hundreds of thousands of followers in just a few months. All that growth came from here. While every other large account is stagnant and not growing. wtf is this app anymore

Regarding the incident where my booth got blocked by another vendor (proxy) at Anime Arizona, I wanted to clarify how all my socials are wiped. After I posted this video on my Threads and Instagram, it blew up. In my original post, I did not use any hostile language — I only stated the facts. I am reposting this video for reference because I want to speak up about this unfair situation in Artist Alley. Then, I suddenly started receiving hostile comments from a few private accounts. After that, my account was automatically flagged due to mass reports by Meta’s AI system, and when I submitted an appeal, it was also automatically denied by AI. That’s how I lost my art account/business that I had built over the last 10 years. All of my Instagram/Facebook/Threads/Messenger accounts with 63,000+ followers combined (as well as my personal accounts) are now gone. As a result of speaking out, I lost contact with customers and friends I had connected with over the past 10 years.

Just to be transparent (and sorry for bringing this up again): this is about half of the bot accounts that have been following me in the past 48 hours, on average 10-15 per hour. This is in no way a coincidence or happening without people behind this app allowing it. I don’t have the time or energy to keep blocking them all and I refuse to go private to just protect this account. They will eventually suspend my account with some bullshit claim of inauthenticity and this is probably how they have also approached with many other “uncomfortable” accounts that they have suspended. Sharing this to let you know about the shenanigans happening here before it’s too late.
