yeah let's see the idea of the agent driving the system of record with occasional human sanity checks/dopamine hits makes sense to me

@AgentRevenueLab Curious if you think there’s anything we should learn for this or that we can improve on! For what it’s worth I use Notion in much the same way you describe using Spaces here, with my agent driving it for me!

mm it has just been very easy to iteratively give chatgpt more integrations given my chat context in a way that i haven't quite been guided towards on notion I quite like the chat first -> docs 2nd UX and notion feels docs first (maybe just from the history) so I haven't thought of it as conversational system of record updates in the same way as I jumped into chatgpt / dots with

& thinking on it a bit more in case helpful dots having its own computer is very helpful bc it is also pushing to github repos as I am on the go to so trusting that dots is a catch all across workflows + is updating a system of record creates this loop of me wanting to continue chatting and giving it more context/integrations

I wish we had them in the EU (our institutions are keeping us ‘safe’).

ah that is tough. I did my grad school in the EU and have a lot of thoughts on the approach I heard there to AI/US tech policy

Sounds like you mainly have one ongoing chat with it, and you’re checking in to feed it the context of your day (so it can probe you on leaning into your intentions)… ChatGPT usually gives so much bloat so I’m wondering if that constant checkin w Dots ever feels fatiguing?

not yet bc there is baseline trust that it is triaging and adding to the right integration/notes doc/reminder

spoke a little on this but I like that I just assume dots works under the hood vs openclaw/hermes the engineer in me wants to endlessly tinker but...I would rather direct that elsewhere

yeah personnal AI is really great but I would feel uncomfortable if my data is not owned by me , once local AI prices settle , I ll just make my own one and adapt it to me and to my life

Really love what you've said here and agree fully. It's got some rough edges, but it's easy to see the future utility for Dots. It's almost feeling magical.

I actually have dots create all the spaces for me and tell it to push to it as we chat there is some bugginess with editing in spaces that I expect OAI team to sort quickly but otherwise it feels v similar to notion except the agent is driving all the documenting and I am minimally checking when needed, trusting it is all organized there for me via chat does this make sense? can explore screenshotting if something else is useful

Huh yeah I’d like some screenshots if you feel comfortable sharing them. I haven’t, for instance, been able to get check boxes to work on my spaces.

lil note on the voice settings: it's the same voice you've picked for voice chat in codex, i changed mine from Sol to Ember and my dot picked it up on the next call (unless u meant beyond the standard options)

The real unlock is trusting context to survive across tools.
