I am extremely concerned & deeply empathize with the alarming "sinking" of the town of #Joshimath. In this message, I share two actionable suggestions for the Govt of #Uttarakhand. I urge the state govt to consider adopting these as a part of the regional mitigation action plan.

When the State Govt decided to raise the Salaries of the MLAs, I had objected, but couldn't stop the Govt as they had the numbers. I had promised that I will be donating the excess amount which would be used for legal expenses of the State Govt Employees for the DA Case which is pending in the Hon'ble Supreme Court. I had approached Sangrami Joutha Mancha for this purpose, who in turn suggested to hand over the same to Karmachari Parishad Members; a Party of the case. Since the excess salary has been credited now after the formalities, I have duly handed over the same to Karmachari Parishad Members:-
