“I am going into work" Speeding police officer pulled over by another officer

Personally, this is the kind of morality I would expect police officers to have. To call out other officers who think they are above the law. Bravo to the guy.

Basically the speeding officer was also bound by duty to assist in catching himself.

The guy shouldn’t have been doing 80 in a 45, and he deserved to be ticketed. Refusal to show his driver’s license is ridiculous, and arrestable in most places.

I got pulled over once for passing an officer who was going 20 mph SLOWER than the posted speed limit. For twenty minutes he must have put me through every database in the country and Interpol to justify the pull over. Nada. Nothing. I'm a good boy. And he was a Lieutenant of police! He should have known better.
