I am really excited for my coffee tomorrow morning. Anyone else start looking forward to it the night before?

I bring my wife coffee every morning . She thinks I do it because I’m nice. The reality is, I’m afraid of her until she drinks a cup.

Better believe it. Only we ditched all the devices and makers that have plastic parts, tanks and tubes that we didn’t realize was making our coffee taste so bad. We switched to whole bean, stainless steel burr grinder and a simple $60 French press which only has stainless steel and glass that touches the coffee and the hot water. Now we can’t drink anything else. No cooked plastic pods, no melting plastic getting into our coffee. Try it once and you will be hooked. You will want to throw out yours. I know you don’t believe me, but try it and see. Organic whole beans, ground fresh, using Icelandic glacial water, microplastic free water, and the safest ever to drink, no disinfection agents, and a simple French press. We just heat the water in a stainless steel or glass pot and pour it in and brew for 5-7 min and press. I never knew all these things changes the taste and mouthfeel of coffee. Cheers!

Me!!!! I really only drink 1 or 2 cups a day. But that cup in the morning is the BEST way to start my day!

Got myself a breville for my Birthday. I wake up in the middle of the night jonsing for a cappuccino. Yes indeed. The dog doesn't even get a treat till that thing is foaming the milk. 😂

I make instant Sicilian brand espresso with hot water from the kettle. Lol. But it’s actually epic. Or I make Greek coffee in a briki. I guess I am old fashioned. To each his own. Looks cool. Nice cup.

Yes, but forcing myself to drink with food now. Coffee machine taunts me while I cook eggs in the dark and stare at the sun as it rises. It’s torture.

Absolutely 😂 I blend my protein powder with my coffee and do sometimes start thinking about what flavor I’m going to make before the next morning. I have an extensive collection of flavored syrups so I have lots of options and never need to hit a coffee shop up for my morning caffeine fix.

Good morning! I do look forward to my morning cup of coffee. I now, however, wait 1 1/2 hours after waking before drinking my first cup to let the natural morning cortisol peak subside so as to not pile onto that peak. Grok can explain this quite well with references.

Just ground mine so I don’t make noise so early. I’ll do a pour over for my wife and I, 30g coffee / 450mL water

When I get in bed I get dork-level excited for my coffee in the morning.

I sometimes wake up at 4-5am and ask myself if I should just go ahead and wake up for coffee.
