The author is a woman in her mid-20's who grew up loving Soul Eater in highschool, of course her shit is amazing. (I'd seen this clip about a dozen times before I actually started the show, and it still twisted a knot in my stomach when I got to it properly)

As far as I've seen, the scene where they get naked is way worse than in the manga. Although in the manga you can see one of Amo's naked legs, that's pretty much the worst of it, while the anime has a whole sequence which is more disturbing tbh. What a damn good job
