🔓 I am VERY excited to introduce LOCK: a Bitcoin-based access protocol for encrypted secrets, that turns Bitcoin transactions into cryptographic access keys. No accounts. No passwords. No servers. This is Proof-of-Access⚡️ Video and thread 🧵👇

/ The idea is simple but powerful: 🟡 A secret is encrypted into a SEAL file (digital vault) 🧾 Unlock rules (wallet, fee, time-lock, # of unlocks) are set in metadata 📦 You publish or store the file ANYWHERE ✅ The only way to access it? → A valid Bitcoin transaction matching the rules.

/ This creates a new primitive: Access-as-proof-of-work Instead of asking: “Who are you?” (identity) LOCK asks: “Can you prove it on-chain?”

/ Use cases include: 🔒 Untraceable and Uncensorable messaging channels ⏱️ Time-locked documents ☠️ Burn-after-read vaults 📤 Pay-to-access files 🧬 Inheritance without trust 🔁 Rebindable vaults 👁️ Tamper-proof public releases All enforced by Bitcoin — not a server.

/ LOCK is a protocol, not a product. It lets you encrypt a file and bind access to a Bitcoin wallet. ❌No OP_RETURN ❌No identity/accounts/servers/tokens ❌No platforms It uses Bitcoin transactions + modern encryption. Access is stateless, verifiable, & censorship-resistant.

/ The LOCK protocol defines 4 core actions: seal() — encrypt the file bind() — link it to a real TX + wallet unseal() — validate + decrypt rebind() — transfer access with a signature No cloud logic. No smart contracts. Just Bitcoin and encryption.

/ LOCK also introduces a new layer of access on top of Bitcoin (philosophically): 🧱 The Sovereign Access Layer (SAL) Where access isn't granted by platforms... It’s proven on-chain — by ownership, energy, and action. Access via proof-of-work, not permission.

/ What makes it novel? 🔐 Bitcoin transaction = access key 🧾 Metadata defines unlock logic 🧮 Vault ID = hash(SEAL + metadata + TXID) It's an access control system without an access controller. 📁 Files can live ANYWHERE — access is enforced nowhere in particular.

/ If this resonates: ✅Please share your feedback, audits, and ideas! ✅Improve the spec ✅Challenge the assumptions ✅Or start building a compliant client today I'm happy to receive any feedback to improve this new protocol into the future 🙏 RT to help spread the signal 🛰️
