Essentials are their rights…..shelter, food, education, love. These are never taken away. But, Everything else is earned: Wi-Fi, snacks, designer clothes, phone, outings, etc. Privileges grow with responsibility, effort, and attitude. Disengage and they shrink. That’s how life works.

Create challenges for your children and make them do thing by themselves. Let them not have their usual meals sometimes, normalize not giving them money to buy snacks and tell them they'll only get snacks only on weekends or as a reward for task achieved. I do that to my boy 💯
