I ask the government, when we will achieve this standard?

Over the years I have come to realise and have resigned to the fact that overwhelming garbage and filth in India is a cultural, political and administrative decision. It is as if it has been decided that the country will never be clean. All the stakeholders including common citizens, politicians and bureaucrats go to extra lengths to make the country look as dirty as possible. This is our state of being. When the BJP won in 2014, I thought being a nationalist party, making the country look good would be one of the top most priorities but no, I think filth and garbage are our way of life and it is not about a particular party.

The day people stop spitting on the road. The government can't do anything if people are uncultured and lack civic sense. As if we didn't see what happened to the new stations. So, if you want real change, ask people to change, not the government.

Short answer. Never. Not till municipalities in India are privatised. Contractors and politicians care a damn for cleanliness, air pollution and civic sense. India is unliveable.

It doesn't even cost much. We are just tolerating everything and not making enough noise in the real world.

India can simply copy the China model, how they achieved it...but no, there's no motivation for urbanisation.

Maybe not the Govt, first ask the public, no littering, no occupying of pavement, proper safe driving on roads without dumping water, sand, concrete trash on road, no random digging to put party flags and poles for poster. Can't ask Govt to keep a watch for these.

Even if the government does this, some people encroach on the area and make it worse because they don’t want development. The people who live there can improve it themselves, as most of them know how to fix it.

Ask the people, not govt. there is 1000s of examples that govt built roads and parks amd public ruined them within few days or weeks

We can achieve this standard when people will raise their standards. People are haramkhor. They only expect honesty from government. But they steal government properties, damage government properties. First of all public behaviour should improve. Rest will come in line.

Never. Govt has fund for SC,ST,OBC,WAQF,LADLA,LADLI,DALIT,SHOSHIT,VANCHIT,QUOTA,RESERVATION but no fund to build infrastructure worth living in Bharat.

I actually like how it ends, people are still walking on the road. 😅 To be honest, the communication gap is the biggest reason we're stuck and not improving. We need to raise our voice, demand better, and keep pressuring the government, politicians, and the authorities responsible..💯

You can ask your government if you live outside India. In India, the government and administration refuse to admit that governance standards are poor. Without accountability, this remains a fantasy.

Never in this Lifetime as here the work of Digging roads starts only after relaying of surface as they forget everytime to have utility lines below either replaced or new lines to be put up. Dhanda hai par ganda hai BJP ho ya congress sabko yehi mangta hai.

Probably never with the way attitude of our municipal authorities Not only are they underfunded, they also lack the skill and vision to execute something like this. Reforms focused on accountability could be the answer.
